sunglasses, thank you

At first, the revelation Macondo (The Macondo Prospect - Mississippi Canyon Block 252, abbreviated MC252) is actually an asphalt volcano beneficial to sea life brought a modicum of relief. But the part where sea life is murdered in the present only to be replaced in the distant future with sea life shown some kind of beneficience is illogical from a "What was wrong with our sea life in the first place" point of view. It sounds like Iraq, Afpak, Iran propaganda dressed in seaweed. We have to destroy them to make them better. Our leader did promise to rebuild the region better than it was before, did he not? It all depends on what better means, doesn't it. This is where I lost the logic. You see, I thought it was fine just as it was.

How it "was" turns out to be not how it really was and has not been for a very long time. All those little plotted specks in the sea are wannabe BPs and refining ops. Next time, it will be one of them in disaster as it often has been before and worse, as it has been for over 5o years in the Niger Delta. The child selling sodas in the photo at the left was not even born when it became commonplace, this is the whole world to her, likely the only one she will ever know. The older she gets, the worse it will get and maybe the whole reason she is alive at all. Her mother said you need to do something, I am dying, now get up, get out there, take care you don't linger. Not too far from now she will repeat her mother's words never having lived in any other place, never knowing anything else, never having done anything else. Have they all just accepted they are targeted for elimination so they can be replaced by something "better"? Not completely. They have been beaten down into a belief system of obedience among the oppressed-extreme in which any infrequent scrap that may fall into one's possession is reward enough. Scraps bring out the wild dogs. Empty bellies are only aggressive until they are in the weakened throes of starvation. This is our future. It may not be our future today or next year, but it is our future if nothing gets in the way. There is nothing stopping it from taking over as it is doing. You are free to disagree if you can.

It will not escape your attention that we could be talking about any resource rich geography anywhere on the planet. Whether or not its delivered by Macondo or the mining industry or any of the subsidiary support sharks, anywhere there exists an "opportunity" for extraction, the end result is the same. Endless war, endless blowouts, what's the diff? We move back to square one. These crises are all one crisis, however presented and sold, all that is different is merely in the eyes of the beholder made beholden by the MSM and more importantly, the characters of the reporting witnesses. Because, my friends, on the streets, they do not speak of crisis. They do not speak of peaks. They don't know or care about these events. Mostly, they are busy picking up the pieces of their lives as each pillar of existence as they knew it is ripped away. Their days are ruled by loss every day and wondering what to do about it, if anything. They have no vacancy for greater loss.

I've stopped reading many of the stories. You can count on most of them being another message about "blah blah blah ___ barrels leaking per day" in which the amounts were never as low as you were just about to read. Do you need to read more? Knock yourself out, but since these drillers can do what they want freely anywhere else in the world, they do not feel especially pressured to make the persnickety continent of North America into a special case. Again, they are showing us the future. Extraction today and tomorrow and tomorrow is dangerous and dirty work that pays so ridiculously well they feels it fully justifies the mess they make, casting aside all concern for others and for Nature. We saw it with Colony Collapse Disorder and we saw it in Utah where a number of trapped miners were simply buried alive and we see it with the sea life and the death and misery to come. This is the cost of doing business in Peak knowing all the while it cannot possibly last as species are extincting and myriad bubbles bursting far and wide resulting in disastrous consequences unfolding repeatedly across the entire planet. Ignore these costs of doing business and you make a deal with the devil. There has never been a good side to dealing with the devil, evil is destined to last only as long as no one knows what you are doing whether it is hidden for centuries or a day. Many still have no idea or concern, the happy talk has been pounded into their brains from birth cushioned by oversize comforts and chemical delusions. As westerners were lulled into thinking they could have it all, a vast desert of long-buried, ego-driven prejudice was reopened allowing the simpleminded to demean everyone that did not live or think as they do. We are better than them. We are smarter, richer, more clever, more equipped to survive and propagate the species. Ahem, how many times have I said "...when it is all gone, there will be none left for ANYONE at any price".

There must be great energy propelled by staggering riches, expended in the challenge of concealing actions that will unquestionably, eventually, shamefully be exposed to all. The game is to get as much by force while they can before the jig is up. Surely it is intense. It is the most amazing waste of time we will ever live to see take place. It may well be a World record breaker, possibly a Universal record in sheer arrogance. Who are these monsters dicking with our planet? They are global mob celebrities yanking us along unwittingly through their harrowing chapters of massive sorrow as if the tragedy they create were a magic mind-magnet. A large part of the game is our abject dismay. They need us as an audience as black needs white. Without us pointing out what they do, there is no game at all. Imagine that? There would be no plunder if no one saw theft as plunder. When they figure that out (and they may be close now) all the world will be a Niger Delta and there will be no more war, no media, no pundits, no courts, no small freedoms at all, just blackened lands and dead seas. You are either a weapons carrier or trapped in the mineshaft.

If you have read this far, you already know how it works. The longer you watch, the worse it becomes. Its only a matter of time before something crazier comes to the forefront just as soon as the ratings tell them the GOM is slipping somewhat.

We really do "go on". They have agencies to tell them whether or not we are interested. They will wrongly perceive a key to our attentions and pursue that too until its scheduled to graduate to the next level. Of course, you don't like it, but whether or not we approve is definitely not their concern. That much is more than clear.

Thanks Charles, I love hippie expressions and use them all the time. Far out, hip and out of sight, etc., usually mean very good things. I'm glad you brought up "mind blowing", now we see it to mean a terrible thing beyond human comprehension. Even our language is gone. Not co-opted this time, just lost in the rubble.

Perhaps heavy texters are inventing an abbreviated language that will replace it.

Right on Nina..heh heh. The black flower that keeps on giving. Pierce our mother, shit on our land, disrespect all the riches that matter. The high and mighty toads of the universe sucking life 'til there is no more for them to suck.

Well put, you painted a picture with your words, as good as your art, the part worth worth all, they disregard...stupid ignorance.

I am going to a sacred place today with pictographs and balancing rocks, the kind of thing they never see..poor them.

Hello Mr. Smith
Never apologize for hippie language, the right ideas, couched potatoes and all..kind hearts were working, and the ladies danced.

Tomorrow night at 9:00pm, a party in the universe, do that dance again wherever you are..we are not comatose yet.

That was excellent ..neil.., you don't miss a thing.
And Burnie, thanks, every day here is "talk like a hippie day".

Have a look at Chris Floyd's blog today if you have not already done so. It fits in rather well. The past tells the future. All that was needed was the Bush family confluence for the wheels to come off.

Also, Charles, in April 2008, wrote about the absurd waste of time (and money) I spoke of in our post. We could have been solarizing instead of stealing. But no, somehow its easier to pass war supplementals, even though its on the card.

You can eventually get past bad politicians but what concerns me is the attack on the DNA with GMO, nano particles, vaccinations, chemtrails, corexit etc etc. They are coming at people from every direction now.

It is tiresome reading labels on everything you touch.

Nina I noticed there is a concerted effort on the web these days to frame discussion of the runaway well as just another well that went bad. You are not to discuss it in terms of jet fuel burning steel beams and shipping them to China or buildings collapsing that were not hit by a plane.

This is just another well, no red asphalt tar, no high concentrations of methane...got it? Corexit won't hurt you and you don't need a mask. That is why it is a felony to go film the gulf. The fact that it is on the edge of the Caribbean plate which was Atlantis doesn't mean squat, got it?

I have never seen so many trolls jumping on this like they have at Les's site. I am being reminded that I am not a geologist.

Talk to you tomorrow if the gulf doesn't blow.

A no name is...what one might want to be in a world of spooks and snitches. I, having lived a full 66 years in a democrat collectivist society, am used to keeping certain opinions private. But it was always hard to control myself in the obtuse face of the herd. Sometimes I'm appalled at the inexorable devastation on the event horizon. Bringing it up in conversation cost me a sinecure here and there but I could not shut up about the administration and the utter hypocrisy of its' "leadership". When poople [sic] criticize me for being the leader I am, for articulating the to me obvious fact that until/unless the many I's UNITE in the knowledge of enforced plurality, there can be no solution to any of this. I can get as gloomy as anyone about human lethargy and inertia. I finally worked out that my charisma is insufficient to the task of taking the bull by the horns and actually facilitating a consciousness revolution based on simple truth love and understanding. Whats so bad about that? Well it would mean changing a lot of cherished traditions, would it not? Fuggit abot it. War trumps love with bullets and bombs. Progress is regress with a fresh paint JOB. My suggestion and it is a small one is that each of you who read this GO DEEP. When "I" change for the better the world is influenced by what I do. It may be a subtle change but if I am vigilant, if I work diligent and smart at rebuilding the fractured person the world made of me then do I find success. Notice in this post I do not use the evil noun. I don't write about what "we" know or do because
"we " is the fictional engine of fascism in the default de facto world. "We" are separate by nature. Unity if it is to be and prevail must arise as I mature in the correct knowing of what I am and how I work. When I decided to 'go" super- natural a glimpse of we, a taste of unity was manifest. You can think of and employ "we" when theorizing of the better world to come but wishing is insufficient in the half ass world of fantasy projection inhabited by immature distracted minion. The rotten secret rulers know the ancient skills of down and dirty divide and rule Strategy tactic and policy. The true goal is un-division, Unity. A No Name Is

Both my critics are right. and gently so. I am aware [you might say Think or believe instead] that most all speech IS ambiguous. It occurs more in speech than in writing, so I try mightily to say what i mean[and mean what I say] which is why I edit. Otherwise I could be embarrassed more than I am. So no, I am fine with enlightened souls saying "WE' because it's how I see myself, inclusively enlightened. Just wanted to share that certain popular expressions can mislead. When Barack or Hillary say 'we" my fear is that it disarms us or at least to be wary of these kind of devises. Many people are not aware of the cynical use of language to exploit the defenseless hemisphere of consciousness. We, strikes me as a powerful tool in the wrong hands. I hope that clarifies and thanks for your wonderful forum and for the freedom here.

nina said...

Ditto on ..neil's.. comment. I have posted often on this problem. A very large portion of the language we use to communicate quite serious concepts is inadequate and distorts our words, thus our thoughts and behaviors. If it is this difficult on the speaker's part, the listener, or reader as in this case, can only interpret based on the same weakened thinking and dull tools for comprehension.
French has a more complete vocabulary although to be truly bilingual means one never grasps the other as fully as an articulate native speaker. This has been proven in ESOL classes. Perhaps it IS indeed because of the unconscious use of trigger words such as Hillary's "we", gets in the way of what we think we mean. And translations are only as effective as the translator. Students of linguistics would tell us language is always evolving.

I don't want to say "I, I, I" when speaking, its self-centric. But saying "we" is absolutely politically incorrect. It is also correct that we are one.
One Love.

nina said...

Oh, btw, the new cap is apparently having some sort of pressure problems ...

freeacre said...

One of the problems with ambiguous language is perspective. Where are you coming from in terms of perception based on what chakra you happen to be looking from. For instance, if you are in survival mode, in a foxhole with a few buddies being shot at, "we" means us guys in the foxhole. You would be looking out from your fist chakra perspective - that of survival.
On the other hand, if you are looking from your third (power) chakra, "we" might be rich & powerful. Or, from the fourth, heart, "we" might include all people. At the sixth, Mind of God, "We" becomes capitalized. We are all the sentient beings in the Universe. And, at the highest level, there is no "we." Just All That Is - maybe no form at all. I don't think we have words for it.
So, there's only so far we can get with labels and words. Happily, we also have feelings and experience to help to shape and define our words and allow them to make some sort of "sense," as it were. Ha!
Personally, my experience as a female and a person who lived on the South Side of Chicago enables me to recognize a pimp job when I see one.

I was at the store today and the guy working there, (we always discuss the gulf) said well they capped it. I said I haven't had time to go home and check it out but I can guarantee you they didn't do anything.

How do you cap a crack 30 miles long in the earth's mantle? How will you know as John Doe if it is capped or it is bread and circuses? There is enough oil there now anyway to take years to move out.

My guess is they are calming the masses. Later on they can always say oops the cap blew, time to figure something else. Mean while all the people out of jobs can go wallow in corexit and finish themselves off to get the BP check cleaning up poison. That is another scenario.

I just don't know. I don't know what is going on anymore with this oil spill. It is hard to figure out.

First we had this: The guy was saying it would be stopped. It apparently was if we can believe what we are told and I am skeptical of that anymore.

Bp illusion of false spill. It is alleged here that they would soon stop the spill. It appears true, and I say appears.

http://www.thegic.org/profiles/blogs/asphalt-volcano-amp-bp#ixzz0rrIrZt00

Then this David Wilcox says they actually stopped it but 10% of the worlds submarines were in the area because of the seriousness of it and distrust for NWO. ? Who and the hell knows and he references Benjamin Fulford also who is not the greatest source of information I don't think. The U.S. Navy did head out of the area. The gist though was that many governments had taken interest because the whole affair had the potential to kill everybody.

Living in Florida I hope the hell he is right but I just don't know. I did read a piece about a chemist in Alabama testing the water and it exploded. They don't know yet if it was the methane or the corexit BP put in the water.

So who is telling the truth here? My guess is there are still big problmes.

This guys says walking on the beach is bad news. Seafood should be really good for us in the coming years.

Hey GW, Shanky here. I'm at the source, well I'm on the GoM at just west of Panama City beach. Guess what? I walked on the beach yesterday for 5 minutes and my feet still burn like I dipped them in Ben-gay 5 minutes ago. This is some toxic shit. Sadly, in the name of finance and economics they are going to push thru allowing the swimmers to come acting like it is safe. I'll do a post and copy you on it soon. This is f'd up. Oil industry insider Matt Simmons blew the whistle on the made-for-TV capping of the so-called oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico Thursday, July 15, during an interview on KPFK radio, the NPR station in Los Angeles.

Simmons, former energy adviser to the second President Bush, explained that according to his reading of the data from NOAA, the National
Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, capping of the so-called riser and the subsequent announcement by U.S. President Obama was “the
biggest con job we’ve ever seen.”

Simmons, creator of an investment bank catering to oil companies, toldradio host Ian Masters that the real problem continuing to gush oilinto the Gulf was not the 6-inch “riser” that apparently has been
capped amid much TV hoopla, but that an open hole or cauldron perhaps up to 10 miles distant from where British Petroleum’s cameras are focused which continues to spew 120,000 BARRELS per day, and that BP’s much publicized effort to drill relief wells in what the company says is an effort to stop the flow of oil is nothing but a cynical publicity stunt.

“The dimensions of this lie are beyond belief,” said Simmons, explaining that the idea of a relief well is “tricky at best,” sinc trying to hit a pipe of less than a foot in diameter 35,000 feet below the surface of the Gulf may be entirely futile because the casing of the original pipe is not even there, having blown away at some point.

But Simmons noted that both BP and Obama continue to deny that this open hole, or cauldron, even exists, even though Simmons and others
insist the NOAA data from satellites prove by speed of flow and depth of light that the amount of oil that has been flowing through the on-camera riser could not possibly account for the amount of oil that has spilled into the Gulf.

“The riser is totally irrelevant,” Simmons stressed, adding “and there’s no way to cap the open hole.” He explained that BP continues to deny the open hole exists and theorizes the continuing flow of oil
into the Gulf is really just the residue from what has already been spilled during the first 90 days of the disaster.

“There is denial that there’s even a problem,” Simmons said. “In about a month or two people will realize that this actually was the biggest con job we’ve ever seen.”

Simmons also noted an additional danger. “What the researchers now believe is that basically is that between 4000 and 4500 below the ocean floor lies an oil lake that’s somewhere between 100 and 120
miles wide and it’s about 4500 feet deep. It’s this toxic waste an crude and it’s releasing methane gases that are absolutely lethal which is why all the fish and dolphins and sharks and whales are
dying. And workers too, which is why so many have gotten sick, or maybe really sick.

“The health problems are so serious,” Simmons said. “When you inhale methane you just die.”

The only possible solution, Simmons insists, “is a small diameter low level nuclear device. They insert it down the well 18000 feet, and set it off. It will fuse the rock and glass, and it’s totally safe, three
miles under the seabed.”

Radio host Masters asked, “When do we get the truth?”

Simmons responded, “Basically the walls are starting to cave in on BP. there are only so many things you can make up.”

“But here’s the really scary thing,” Simmons told the Pacifica radio audience. “If we have a storm, let alone a hurricane, what hurricanes basically do is they churn up cold water from the base of the Gulf.
This time it’s not going to be cold water, it’s going to be black poisonous crude. It will also shut down the 18 power plants along the
Gulf Coast.

“So we’re going to entrap 20 million people in harm’s way.”

Now what do they mean by "seep"? Methane, as we all know, is what killed the rig and 11 human beings.

How many zillions of others are looking quizzically at this news and saying SEEP? Of course the sea floor is seeping, the pressure at the cap has not been high enough since they capped it ... they knew this was going to happen. Low pressure means seep elsewhere.

I have been offline for a sojurn in suburban hell for several weeks and am attempting to catch up. What is clearly obvious is a) BP continues to lie, prevaricate, misquote, misdirect and otherwise avoid whatever truth they have, 2) some actor, or actors are throwing a huge amount of misdirection into the mix, and ∞) Joe-Sixpack wants it all to go away so that he can concentrate on paying his bills and saving for NASCAR tickets.

Till Joe wakes up and refuses to suck at the corporate teat we're stuck.

The Navy does not have ROVs that can operate at depths of 5,280 ft? As I said earlier on this thread, we walk around with a new piece of information in our heads fairly unacknowledged consciously and that is the corporatocracy is running the whole show and can bring down the curtain without impediment should they feel it necessary. They now have all the power - handed over relatively freely by our leaders who are apparently incapable of exerting authority, showing the world they are less than worthless in a crisis, just another voice of weak protest with nothing backing it up because BP hired their mercenaries. At this rate, Niger Delta, here we come. This is what you get when you turn a government into a corporate boardroom, the for-profit corporations will do a hostile takeover as we see appears to have taken place.
This power seesaw is a monster timewaster allowing the global resource grab to continue and the state to back off from its obligations to the American people as long as they dillydally over the blowout.
Today is the 101st day of crisis as opportunity to blindside the nation and thus the planet. Don't think naked shorts aren't reaping the whirlwind. Traders know exactly what we know and likely a lot more.

Its no place for diplomats or politics but it was political from the beginning - it is another form of warfare and we can not "win" this one either. They listen to no one, experienced and offering assistance, but they listen to BP.

It went into reverse yesterday, BP reportedly wants to seal off the well and be done with it. Now its the government who insists the oil be sucked up to ships on the surface. And today ... who knows?

Meanwhile Obama wants unemployment extended in no uncertain terms ... will he be successful? You have to imagine all the unemployed who lost benefits are putting two and two together.

Oil Industry Whistleblower Reveals BP and Halliburton Could Have Shut Down “The Gulf Oil Gusher" in One Week

An Oil Industry whistleblower (who wishes to remain anonymous to preserve health and peace of mind) has revealed to UFO Digest that BP's priority never was to shut down the blowout and seal the Macondo Well, but to repair it to reap profits.

The whistleblower, Neville Dragon (not his real name) states emphatically:

“They had the proven technology to do that sitting on a shelf at Baker Hughes OilWell Tool Company(a division of Halliburton) in Houston.

<Editor’s note: I have received many reports of toxic rains, containing CoRexit and oil droplets across the Gulf region and as far north as Nebraska and Missouri, where oil residue has appeared coating houses after storms. In Florida, tomatoes dissolved as if eaten away by acid after a rainfall. Vegetation and leaves were left with grey splotches that dissolved those areas of leaves, plants and vegetation.

Another account I received from a close friend states that on a fishing trips in Nebraska and Missouri, he went fishing in rain storms and returned home to find that the parts of his body exposed to the rains (arms and legs) became extremely swollen and painfully inflamed quickly thereafter. The condition lasted for days, until he returned to the East Coast and began bathing with uncontaminated water.

I'm not sure they could have shut it down, Mick. Yes, they could have capped it more securely early on, that was acknowledged by Ret. Adm. Allen, but they would have run into the problems they are running into now - seep and methane. Around 100 days have been thrown to the dogs during which orderly evacuations could have been taking place while this thing was politicized and denied.
Have you noticed that some of the things we were talking about two months ago are coming into view on the public radar? There is just so much concealment of fact that can be reported before facts must be faced.

Methane-mud volcano in Indonesia now going on for 4 years. Caused by oil drilling. CEO-politician says it was mother nature, but he'll pay some damages. No end in sight, no plan. Many square miles, some 65 feet deep.

Nina, I sure love lookin at those rocks.

I was going to mention that Nina I saw it on floridaspilllaw. They finally admit it, 3 kilometers away.

It worries me they havent's simply torn the rock mantle of the gulf up drilling some 27,000 wells in it. Many times the rocks layers simply fracture.

Cayce and Mother Shipton looking stout at this point.
I think it is get ready to rock.

Somebody erased my blog for the third time today.

Mick, here I thought you'd discovered a way to up the date on your blog posts.

Isn't it amazing what money can do? You ought to look into that Indonesia mud volcano. Truth is a commodity.

Vword: elimba - rumba under the gulf

bho, I looked into it. It is a hard realization. I'm thinking this is why we keep hearing about species extinctions. And there is something about the way the situation there went down in its timing that is a lot like the wipe out in the Gulf. Only backwards. Just enough to produce some ideas if someone was in the idea business.

I thought I was fairly inured to State (govt) insanity, but a reader sent me this and I am still staggering from the implications:
http://projects.washingtonpost.com/top-secret-america/articles/a-hidden-world-growing-beyond-control/

Basically the "national security state" is completely out of control. This is of a piece with the out of control oil industry--the national security state's twin.

Opting out never looked so good.

I saw something about this last night and it zoomed right over my head like what else is new.
You can see how Rumsfeld would ignore the Taguba Report, you can see how BP looks lean and effective by comparison. You can see the Bu-ad's mission accomplished with no responsibility for its future, you can see any subsequent president totally overwhelmed.
As of today with the GOM on our minds, you can see how there can't be an effective response much less anything remotely resembling an orderly, serious evacuation.
We can add conflicts beyond our borders to this insanity, border protection, overbuilding bases worldwide and alas, the crumbling of the VA leaving homeless patriots in wheelchairs praying for a push to the soup kitchen in 115 degree sun. You can see Tony Hayward mumbling before Congress because he faces no danger, just as Angelo Mozillo walks a free man today. You can see how the market boys toy with our funds, you can see how the "scene" has achieved more importance and value than humanity and nature.
And you know Charles, whatever acronyms they want to label themselves, its still civil service, that monotonous, lowbrow gig you just couldn't consider because you had better in mind for your life.
And better it is in every way even when its interrupted with various unpleasantries, those are just reminders the meek shall inherit the Earth.

The mud volcano and the hidden government have been on my breaking news site since yesterday! Bho sent the mud volcano and it went straight up.

Combing the web so you don't have to! LOL

Not so hard on me, retired civil servant here. That makes me nervous also and I live on the gulf. They are after that check. I am a marked man!!
