sharp left for roots

After a visit from my sister whom I had not seen in five years, I'm exhausted and re-energized. A great time was had by all, topped off with a day long hike up the peaks sharing my spiritual world. Better company I've never had. Because of our DNA, we were able to inspire one another reaching greater spiritual insights than we make alone. I'll be mentioning some of them as we go along.

We live as long as we are supposed to, according to the Creator who sees fit we live long enough to see our children into adulthood. These fine machines, our bodies, exquisitely fine tuned, built to last you could say, are richly composed of exactly what we need for our Earth experience. Wondering why such magnificence actually lasts as long as it does, the answer is of course to nurture our offspring as all living creatures do, especially visible in the Avian World whose babies quickly often outweigh their parents and still must stay with them to learn those important birdlife defences and survival strategies during which many tests and trials are passed through under their parents' coaching. Let's say you had your first child around twenty-five, you would want to be able to provide lifelines when that child is twenty-five, as well as to his/her offspring. For example, the Western Flicker, a year round geography-specific Woodpecker's children and the Western Blue-jays' offspring are adult sized birds when they start coming around to feed here. You could confuse the adult with the child except for the open beaks squawking in voracious hunger same as they did, half their current size, in the nest so recently. The Flicker has a lifespan of + - ten years which tells us it takes several years for these birdlings to grow capable and hip to their own survival. This is the reason the nonmigratory stick around the same neighborhood they were taught to forage for their needs. Nature has it all taken care of. Once it was a rite of passage for humans, too. Some of us are operating in a pattern similar to and based in wildlife's pecking order- as we should. However, as we're all too aware, party-balloon growth and pyramids of systems heaped upon failed systems make the majority of westernized Homo Sapiens abandon the pecking order in favor of convenience: an adjective rooted in rejection of Nature's and God's intents brought about by outside-in materialism vs. inside-out awareness. Are we clear?

The above is a nut shelling of the kind of concepts we kicked about. Heh. Meanwhile, I peeked in here periodically to keep up. All who sent email with links, I appreciated it and visited every one. Mon Dieu!

Every day, we are presented with exponentially bizarre twists and turns in our Maseratis doing the break-neck Monte Carlo straight into the abyss. If you didn't see this link - and you should, its simplified for easy understanding of the ongoing Depressing Redistribution Rip. (Thanks Ran, thanks Gonzalo, thanks Charles)

In this environment more and more bloggers are putting up at least one essay questioning the utility of their presence on the web. It appears to be a phase, we doubt the efficacy of posting, rightly, it has no impact on reality. A humus pile a laptop does not make, neither is it a necessity to take your cellphone on a hike into God's heavenly home. I doubt any mountain critter is impressed by a cellphone. Such a thing does not exist in their reality. If you must prepare yourself to meet God, perhaps it is the wiser trek to travel where you'll have nothing to fear.

Maybe we have to ask what is reality anyway? It is our turn now to man the helm, as adults, literal orphans in matured bodies. If we did not succumb to corpodictocracy, we've had to create our own and live 24/7 in support of whatever reality we make ... in addition to the harsh reality on the ground. Daily the two trains meet. Even out here in the mountains, as rural as it is, the train is traveling through our lives, there is never a single day its reality does not impact ours. Even at this very moment, just over the laptop, vegetation abounds but there are no Honeybees and far fewer bugs (how awful for our avian bredren). The Fireteacher is recovering from overdraft hell despite working nonstop seven days. The family visit while a beautiful respite, for my sister culminated in that now common experience of airport hell, jogging ahead on the moving sidewalk making
connections, hauling the hefty carryon, coughing up $25.00 to store a single bag in the belly and $6.00 for a vending machine-sized bag of pretzels compounding the punishments of shoeless lines submitting to security scans which I hear went bonkers as she, a guitarded artist, was carrying "found" hubcaps on which to paint her astounding unschooled "primitives". Those former burger flippers have no interior resources enabling them to grasp her reality. If they were not sifting through the sandwich bags of toiletries, they'd be in Afpak today eyeballing the poppy fields between memorizing paragraphs in their McChrystalized COIN bibles. Last Sunday, while we were on foot, taking in the majesty of western heights and cloudless skies painted in rich cornflower blue, we came upon two women leading horses. (This scene could have been reversed, it could have been us leading the horses and them walking as we discovered the two women were also sisters. I wondered if we somehow crossed into a mirror.) It came out the smaller horse was recovering from severe starvation, dehydration and malnutrition that happened during a horse-boarding experience where the stable owner was called to war suddenly leaving a corralled domesticated living being without knowledgeable caretakers, on her own, like us, flapping in the wind. One of the sisters, her owner, has been working to beef her up and she was looking good stopping to bend for flake after flake of beautiful light green hay. May blessings from St. Francis find their way to that sister. A flake of hay, by the way, is a full patch pulled off from the bale.

As I mentioned earlier, train come, whistle blowing in the distance, regardless of what, where and who you are.

The boomers don't know what to do except grab any straw that looks like a return to Consumer Fantasia. Grabbing and desperation is not sustainable nor a path to peace. We've been at this game long enough to have picked up a few insights in that department, have we not? Review your days, add them up in neat columns of importance relative to this journey we call life. Did your ancestors greet the day with the ringing of the cell, creating conversations sold to the highest bidder which is whomever reviews our conversations looking for that special someone who refuses to board the train? As your day progresses, do you wander into the central living space only to peer into a box of opinions and models portraying the maturing human whose wrinkles you can remove or intensify with the mouse-pad. After brain wracking to recall at least three approved passwords, coffee flavored with high fructose and syrupy white non-dairy "creamer" here you are, the whistle grows louder, the train is nearing, the microwave having pasteurized your individual size packet of instant oatmeal into steaming hot rubber mush. Wooooo oo woooo. Ch, ch, chug ... up the track... wait, its pill time. Line up the bottles, one of these , one of those, heh. Did we ever need so many? Do we need them or do they need us? By taking them we grow dependent on them, I have not seen the Western Flickers ever pick up pills, but I have seen humans clinging to their overflowing medicine cabinets, steering their Maseratis at mach nine into expanded illness sooner or later requiring multiple, invasive tests, hospitals and rehabilitation facilities, fully accepting a diminishing quality of life as better than no life at all. Every time we see this, we know it could have been different, don't we. I have taken many a shower visiting friends only to have to work my way through vast accumulations of consumer products before finding a sole bar of soap.

What we find most heartbreaking is the number of friends on the train to nowhere. It happens often and never fails to disappoint. You say something that reaches into the soul of the other and meet them at the level it counts. Everybody feels good. Later on, it comes out, that moment was reality for you, but temporary for them. This happens unfailingly over the construct of money. Money is racist, like credit ratings. The cocktail car for one, louvered boxcars for the rest. Ch, ch, chug ... Woooo oo woooo ...

Whatever else family does to and for us, the inheritance of IQ is on your side. Not only is it helpful to speak with people who know your patterns, you know theirs, most importantly we know why such patterns exist. These things can be discussed into resolution with mutual understanding and trust, and do not demand context as it was shared from day one. Even the only child gets busy building a lifetime family of friends. The wise parent creates opportunities for this to take place as we are social animals after all and have more than enough room in our hearts to embrace and nurture others as we do our own.

There is a spring in the jungle that feeds a lagoon in which everyone gathers at various times throughout the day peeled down to their skivvies and bathing their bodies. The dreads have locks twisted in piles on their head or shake them free of glistening drops making rain on us. Mostly, nobody talks much, we're bathing after all, under giant cascading Dasheen umbrellas surrounding the waterfall. We might be Gilded Flickers in our natural habitat, free of constructs, doing what living species do without careening trains and whistles, without product logos, petroleum based body lotions and RFD tracking. The medicine cabinet exists in the lush foliage and the elders confer with the little youths while you dunk your head under the waterfall and after, rub down with Baba's coconut oil. Exuberance is a natural state as is spirituality and its accompanying insights (inside-out vs. outside-in), often someone is thumping out a rhythm on the boulders and nothing but God and sun and love is real.

Dasheen
a member of the Taro, tuber, African "FooFoo" family, large leaves sprout from the rootball, a common staple, starchy vegetable, grows under dirt "beetstyle", tastes better, nuttier and less mushy than potato. Peel, cut chunky and boil, salt and butter. Turns speckly grey after cooking. Thrives in high humidity, daily rains. Dasheen leaves often measure anywhere from 1 1/2' to 3' or more across. In the open markets, Dasheen rootball looks like a brown, hairy coconut. Mostly free as it grows every where conditions listed above are present.

Indeed, the V word technology appears to have a sense of humor, its real aspirations are to be an automated voice.

I saw that painting and instantly the words "single-wide" came to my lips. I'm currently visiting my sister in Eureka CA; it's quite Jungian of me.

As a person who is aligned with the reality of garden, forest, wind, sun and fog I find the dominant surreality baffling and confusing. It's like being in some sort of anti-Rennaissance fair where all the conversations assume a fictional reality and history.

On a good note I am not completely alone. On a recent walk I observed two gentleman lawn bowling, with giant exercise balls, in a redwood grove, on a slope. Sort of like bocce combined with pinball on mushrooms. A world that can throw that out isn't all bad.

Hi honeybucnch, that is the best description I have read anywhere. Oh, fireworks are going off, parades are forming, you've gtabbed the golden ring from the painted pony.

Of course you are making plans to join the bowlers soon, just when the time feels right.

Will you be at your sister's long? If she is anything like mine, this will be a wonderful time for you. Your kind of wonderful. I couldn't have suggested anything better in fact. Here's some helpful oft overlooked but crucial details: Allow each other plenty of privacy. Most importantly, always be ready to surrender to the Forces in all things. Show the honorable side, do the right thing wherever you see it.
Trust me, over the years I've been in your shoes and you must not expect it to last indefinitely because you will find a companion eventually and make other plans.

Nina_ Since I'm such a fruitcake I'm getting passed around. In a week I go to house-sit for my brother in Discovery Bay while he twiddles precision electronics overseas.

My sister is complaining that my cooking is making her fat. Personally, I am aghast at the television and video game addiction of my nephew.

I'm working on a post on mazes and mental traps. Nice painting; it has a interesting story to tell.

It's probably too late for web postings (or anything else) to alter our current trajectory by very much. But what they can do is give some of us a sense that we're not alone in our unconventional perceptions and intuitions. I'll probably never meet the authors of the thoughts and ideas with which I personally resonate, but I'm glad they are out there somewhere. It takes a little bit of the edge off. And that has a value.

Avocado oil is good for a rub down also. Nobody ever has to worry about me bringing along a cellphone, I have never owned one. I don't know how I make it with just this land line.

nina said...

McZ, I agree. A few years back I visited Ann Arbor, MI and drove through the wealthy hoods checking out every second rolling lawn with a glaring homemade sign dissing Bush. You don't see that on the West Coast. It made me feel, well, normal.
Now instead of reading SOTT & WRH, I like to read people who write well.

Y'now, we get to the point where devils and demons are just as cartoonish as the MSM.

Thanks for you comment, I'm honored you came back.

nina said...

I'm looking forward to that post Pangolin. You are in that category of writers I just mentioned to McZ.

I know who you are at heart. I also know it is hard. But, there is a paperback translation of the Tao Te Ching's writings that will help you so much you will find joy and true enlightenment in these times, if you have not read it lately, the time is now. If I knew where to send it, I would mail it to you.

nina said...

I must apologize for a grave error, totally repairable on my part, but the line about "there is no beauty without ugliness" is in verse TWO.

nina said...

Hi Micklet, How subversive not to carry a cell! Maybe Charles will add that to his list of Revolutionary Acts.

Gosh, this means you can't do the Twitter & Tweet, that's okay, I can't do vids.

I see we have another GOM disaster. WTF? Ahem, cough, cough, where's Matt Simmons when we need him ...

PS: I want to personally thank you for commenting here in my absence and emailing all along in such good faith. Actions count.

nina said...

Oh Mick, I bet Avocado oil taste good too, although coconut oil ain't bad. Thanks for the alternative. I'm thinking Avocado oil has some serious healing properties.

These same friends at the Lagoon often hear of someone unwell and rush into the bush bringing back bundles of leafy things that are extremely precious to Big Pharma. Bush meds do not cure symptoms, they HEAL the root of the problem. Ummm, I hope we do not run a power grab over Lavender, Eucalyptus and Nutmeg.

Millions Of Barrels Of Oil Safely Reach Port In Major Environmental Catastrophe
Experts are saying the oil tanker safely reaching port could lead to dire ecological consequences on multiple levels, including rising temperatures, disappearing shorelines, the eradication of countless species, extreme weather events, complete economic collapse, droughts that surpass the Dust Bowl, disease, wildfires, widespread human starvation, and endless, bloody wars fought over increasingly scarce resources.

When did it stop being a disaster?

I'll have to look into that translation of the Tao. Generally I read the Tai Chi Classics when wrasslin with issues. Or go sit with a tree.

Coconut oil is good to heat the bones on winter mornings. A tablespoon or so in your morning chai.

nina said...

That is very helpful to know for the coming winter whiteout handled soley by our fireplace. Thank you. I will ask the bredren to send me a few coconuts from which I can make genuine unadulterated coconut oil for our personal use.

That para from your link is giving me the chills. More after reading ...

That paragraph in the post above is from The Onion b.t.w. It's a spoof on the Deepwater oil spill but it also accurately describes the long term effects of fossil fuel burning.

It's a strange world where you can mock the news by accurately reporting the facts.

nina said...

While I was reading it I thought ... wait a minute, this isn't satire.

Thank you Pangolin.

Let me just say for the record, when I see any of you commenting on other sites, it makes me so happy, your comments are always literate and well-informed. It really speaks well for this community and I see others are appreciative of your visits.

i am standing in mumbai.
my first day in this city.
there is so much sound and volume.
in that city there really is no pause between sounds. and between that absolute play of energy i happened upon a stall.
in seconds a sharp knife has sliced the top off and the inner flesh had been chopped up and the cream blended up with the implanting of the straw as the final touch.
holding it in my hands somehow made it easier for me to be in the space.
sipping it for the first time made me aware that the trip was going to be fine....

and on that same journey, my last day in the city i was sitting by a swimming pool. a coconut tree which towered high into the sky loomed beside me.

was watching the crows circling, the eagles joining in and my eye caught sight of a coconut on a self designated descent. coming remarkably close to where i was sitting. in fact if i lent forward beyond my feet i could touch it.

my journey started and ended with a coconut. not buddha, shive, laksmi or any modern day saint, not even a tiger or cow.
a coconut.

so i know this started about sisters and at the moment the visualiser morphs into something else.....appreciated.

ah the beauty of flexibility.

nina said...

Very nice Desi Susu. Mumbai, formerly Bombay, happy you made that journey and took note of the coconut bookends as you naturally would, as I would too.
I find it a rare skill thought to be nonsense or some mental disorder among those that don't. But it tops the list of birdling defences: to be aware of our surroundings.

No matter how global agra presents it, bottled with little illustrations, shovelled into cake mixes or shampoos and conditoners, its not that milky thick stuff, it clear and the taste cannot be described in language other than thirst quenching colorless water provided by Jah. (Jah Juice)

There are corporations who dedicate their efforts to the chemical imitation of flavors and scents. I think the FDA must have come down on them requiring at least a modicum of extract for product purity or something.

I got so excited reading your post. I always knew you were a Tao person. I have been reading two books for a couple of weeks and they are really turning my life in a different direction. I have been one with the Way or always moving in that direction since my days of youth circa 1970. Been reading 365 Tao most every day since 1991 but the two books I have mentioned that really bring it all together are "Second Book of Tao" Stephen
Mithcell and the real kicker is Tai Chi by John Lash. Most moving of the two. As we know relearning life is so much fun.

More on the Tao later

Your art gives me butterflies

pangolin,

last night i was in deep sleep, very deep sleep when the door to my bedroom was opened by my 15 year old son cian. he shone a torch whilst i sat up to try and ascertain what was up. then these 2 male cops enter behind him into my bedroom. which by the way is upstairs and a fair way away from the front door.

it transpires that he has been searched whilst walking home and was found with about a j's worth of dope. i have go down to the station with him.

so we sit in this room with the most hideous bright lights you have ever seen. it supposedly doubles up as courtroom and counseling area for victims.
in the corner is a corner shelf with a brass vase inhabited by a drooping plastic pink whatever, they did not even try to copy a particular plant. there are some pictures of jacob zuma and our new minister of police. the other one has just been sentenced to 12 years for corruption and implication in organized crime.

there are the usual laminated sheets of facts and basic civil laws. it is not a friendly space.

there are two policemen present. i won't bore you with the details but for two hours they filled in forms, using at least 20 sheets of paper. then there was the fingerprinting each finger and both of us having to sign each page. and then initial each page.

in between this i am joking with them. i know when and how to be the clown. but then i also ask cian where they searched him and did he know it was his constitutional right to resist being searched on the street. he said he did not and then the sargeant informs me that they had a tip off that these boys had gone to score and they had searched because dagga is evil and they got to get rid of it. they then ask me if i am going to send him to rehabilitation. like there is really something wrong with someone smoking marijuana.

Pangolin, when you fly over Trinidad and get a big bird's eye view of the clawed-out bauxite mountains, tin cans take on a whole new horror. Use them at the expense of the Earth.

I have noticed the cans coffee comes in are being gradually replaced with cardboard, you can see the tube on the inside when the coffee is emptied. Exactly as a fatter paper towel tube. Now, this isn't for Trinidad, its for profit. In this case they are still containing adulterated foodstuffs at the expense of the Earth.

So yes, it is blasphemy. Thus we are caught in the middle by need and compromising with the Earth to fulfill the need.

after several hours it is time to go home. i ask them to weigh the stash. am informed that there is no scale there. we will have to go to the butcher the following morning and weigh it. i think nothing of this.
the officer then searches through the vault with the guns and ammos for a zip seal bag. they can't find one. the whole place is uncared for, i feel a desire arising to transform that space. the desire is quickly squashed.

the following morning i cycle down to go and have it weighed. the cop shop is very different. these are the heavy weights and they don't smile or make eye contact. despite my lightness.

they informed me that cian had to be present at the weigh in. so up the road i cycle again. with the jasmine, wisteria and buddleia even sweeter than the day before. and the clouds doing a complete new trick against the blue sky.

life in its infinite intelligence places conny with her newly died orange hair directly in my path - setting up her table for the morning market.
i tell her the story and she asks how much the evidence weighs. i tell her about the butcher weigh in. she says bullshit he has not been found guilty you don't have to take this public.

so off i cycle down the road again, the clouds doing their damdest to keep mind distracted.
the police are not happy about my refusal and and i cycle off.

off to a family constellation thing which was intense. upon returning home the kids inform me that the cops have been looking for me all day. they are sending some detective from the nearest town to see me. now i know it is a power thing.

so whilst waiting for the visit
i water the garden, chop onions, run a scented bath for iona who is sensitive to all the nuances she picks up being almost purely water signs.

tao then tells me that a cop has just called from the nearest town - a constable - and then i know it has become a power game. one of the top officers coming all the way here on a piss willy case that will be thrown out of court.

so he arrives a short while ago with another man in attendance. they tell me they have come to take cian and i to robertson to have the stuff weighed. so i say now, at night. yes they say, and i refuse. but not just no, i tell them that my daughter is ill and i am not leaving her and i am not taking her with us i also said for fucks sake guys this is not a violent crime. why are you not dealing with the violence out there right now.

so then they say they will take us tomorrow. and i decline a lift in the police vehicle. i say we will get there under our own steam. they are non plussed by this. they are not used to being refused. they ask me to be there at 9 in the morning and i again refuse. no it is a sunday, 10 will be fine. not that does not suit them they want to go to church an on holiday respectfully.
well i say 10 in the morning onwards is what i am willing to do.

then i become the clown again, but having shown the bells on my cap and on my pointed jester shoes.

tomorrow morning cian and i will be hitching in to town and who knows what adventure beholds us then......

i think once we are there i will make it a mission to find some coconut juice.......

once again thank you for this space to share the unfolding...

so sunday morning cian and i are just about to head off for the 'weigh-in' when the cops arrive to tell me that the scales at the robertson police station don't work either.
thankfully they discovered that before we ventured forth.

two hours later they return the house (a bit unnerving to have police arriving all the time) and tell me that they have taken the scale from the butchery to the police station.

so off we go. da da da. it is wrapped in newspaper and they place the evidence on the scale.
and it weighs ......
scroll down....

0.00 grams.
so they put it on the edge of the scale - same reading.
after a few attempts i take the light manilla envelope and place it on the scale and it registers with a 10g reading.
so i say okay no case. and they say but there is the stuff and i said well now we are in the realm of quantum physics. it looks real, but it is just actually weightless, empty space.

The only devils that I have encountered are the forms that arise within. They disappear when dismissed, get stronger when fed. Simple.

Then again, one mans medicine is another's poison.

Best, turey.

How much of a role do gender, income and skin color play in these situations?

The tables have turned Susu, now they want you. Was that the objective all along? I'd enlist some legal assistance about now... before going any further.

Agree with Nina Su.

Funny you say that nina,

Two new detectives came here this morning. they said that a new child act law was passed in april and this meant that i would have to meet with a social worker who would then advice the prosecutor to prosecute or not.
As it stands the prosecutor will throw this out of court. 0.00 grams. so now another angle must me met - the social worker will be told to advise the prosecutor to prosecute and then despite the fact that there is no substantial evidence we will have to have us in court.

An intuitive once came into my home upon entering my office/study/hide away and exclaimed that it had such a huge presence in it. She insinuated an entity in residence and until today I attached no importance to it.

When thee men arrived at the house the Bob Marley had been turned off in the 'school room'. i asked Tao to bring them to this space. - knew i would be protected here. The main one started talking about the law and i interrupted and told him how angry was with the police force. i said if there had been a crime it would have been the kids crime against himself - no one else was hurt.
And then Nina i mentioned your comment about since when did we in Africa lose our intelligence and adopt a stupidity.
Anyway this appointment was to be held in Robertson court. I am going to request she//he comes here – pick up the feeling and essence of this home..

The most interesting thing that surprised me was 'my reaction to the whole thing'. Mostly open and honest but i can hold things close to my chest. I told everyone I saw about the event, rather hear it from me then the grapevine. Met a lot of distorted opinions about ganga, most people just think of it as bad and evil and criminal. And all a lot of them needed was a bit of alternative thinking on the subject. . Fielding challenges and questions along the way I met nothing but concern and care. One of the village ‘elders’ said she would vouch for the beauty and integrity of these children and the benefits of their upbringing and she would get others to add to her voice if needed.

Since then other teens in the village are telling me that they are stopped and searched regularly. Especially the one’s with dread. And even though nothing is found they are still stopped again and again. Of course a compulsion to address this arises.
It is almost like the river changed course on Friday night and life seems to be pushing me into a more active and challenging role. I need to remember to breath. And trust the process. And although it looks and feels like a gender, race, unschooling issue, it probably has a purpose.

Sage gave Cian one of the baby guinea pigs – his name is Jah.

What the villagers think and what the authorities think and do to enrich their obviously empty coffers is the difference between night and day. This situation is interfering with your family and your parenting. You must get a lawyer, a good one, otherwise this could expand into a nightmare.

You know I am thrilled about little Jah's good fortune, but let's see that side of your world continue with you around to enjoy it.

Please take this to heart Su, your account of events shows it to be worsening, not a good lesson anymore. The better lesson is to show the children and thus all observers how you are going to take control and reverse the negative impact with your proactive and challenging actions.

Remember Origami: All problems stem from thinking we know everything when we don't know shit.

They will keep coming up with ways to run you around and around until you put a stop to it. No one else will, its up to you now.

Look at what has happened already. They are not just going to vanish unless you make it happen. Sadly, either way, its going to cost you.

This is such a real world, new world, daily life globally common story. You are in my estimation a saint. Saints are supposed to be exempt from petty paltry runnings, but no one is exempt now. Keep your eye on the big picture, how they see your lifestyle is in the eye of the beholder. Thus you need representation that speaks their language.

Su_ If you listen to the earth you will know that this isn't about whether Tao had two joints worth of herb or not. None of this is about the herb, the weight of the herb, Tao's schooling or lack of it, or the law. It's about submission or lack thereof. It's about the local constables identification as lions and therefore everything in their territory must be meek as cattle or driven out.

Tao, as a young lion, was supposed to be humbled and likely he does not still his young pride enough to satisfy the old bulls. You, in turn, bring rise to frustration because you did not confirm their authority in front of the boy.

Nina is right in that you need a lawyer, a bull water buffalo if you will, to hide behind. The lions have to deal with the water buffalo and he can hold their interest until something more interesting distracts them.

You and Tao, in turn might consider being boring, bland, still, imitating a bitter herb as much as possible. Give them nothing to push at or grasp if you can. No word, no color, no movement, no unusual stillness.

These are not the droids you are looking for...

In my misspent youth I did a bit of transportation for the dancing bears of Bolinas. Nina knows what I am talking about.

Then find whatever tests your government uses to let rich kids bypass the education system. There is one. Get the study materials and sit Tao in front of them. Use their own iconography against them.

This is from Pangolin. It don't know why it isn't showing here. I get a copy of every comment in my mailbox, this came in at 1:30 pm 09.06.10

When it shows up, I'll take this down. It will show up.

Pangolin, for the life of me, I don't know what you mean by dancing bears in Bolinas or transporting. I really don't. Was it a circus?

Nina, Pangolin and Turey,

Thank you for the feedback and I do take it to heart.

I mentioned in the last blog how my youth was spent in the worst days of apartheid. because of this i refused to study afrikaans - to me it was the language of the opressor.
i had to write an exam on it upon finishing school but i got an h.
this area is mainly afrikaans. whenever the police spoke to us in the language we had to say sorry could you say it in english.
also not a good sign.

they could all be tested on their academic qualities and in maths and science would be found to be grades higher than their peers but i have always refused to teach them history and economics and there they would drop dead.

Just consider us the background noise who insists no harm come to you or the unschool. We worry and fret but we are not physically there. I have certainty in your ability to deal with whatever comes along. Always have, always will.

Hey, you know something, Susu? Praise Jah takes on a whole new meaning now!
