Love War Four

Feverish perhaps, but I am cool. Weather: fog/cold. Did we not just leave August? WTH? This is why I never say Global Warming if I can help it because here its plain old climate chaos. Suddenly, the month we thought we had left to wear our tank tops has us ripping the closets apart to find our favorite hoodie. No easy feat since 7/10ths of the closet is piled neatly with thrift store 3rd hand, maybe 4th, maybe ... who knows in the depressing circumstances of Doom Gone Wild anyway, items of seasonal need.

This Qur'an burning issue, yesterday the preacher in the snake handlers cult called it OFF. Heh. Do you think he has ANY idea how ridiculous he appears, ON or OFF? That he reveals incredibly low intelligence and possible illiteracy for herding his 50 member cult straight into the same pits of extreme kool aid mental instability we've seen happen again and again? At least its a small group. It could be worse. They could be rich and then it would definitely be worse. We have to wonder, could such a man, purportedly a small (but timely) cult leader, hold such a standoff as he did against the pressures of political, media and social opposition, have even dreamt of taking a stand against power? If he truly believes with the totality of his serpentine soul that Islam's bible need go up in flames, it stands to reason he would never have attempted to say no, nor would his cultees. His programming doesn't make divisive stands, he's only a vessel. He believes story A from source A. He does not believe story B from Source A? However, that's neither here nor there now, the result of which will be a large paying increase in devotees equally as skilled in snake husbandry, not the brightest bulbs, but bright isn't their concern. Their concerns are to hang with others of like mind, confused and making homilies about their confusion, "Oh its a funny old world outside my window, at least I gotta window". You have to wonder what they think Islam is. Or where. Is it a weapon, a humanoid baby sheep or something? Geeze.

Do they value their own bible? I feel sorry for them because if we think we've got it tough, in their world, they can't think about it at all because it is their Operating System, like Safari.

When I was a little nina we moved to the rural south. Other than the leftover elite from the Civil War, the place was fairly uninhabited, we were among the early soon to become unstoppable flow of exurbanites, but preceded apparently by a strange and unusual inbred culture of white sharecroppers turned gas station attendants. My mother just could not understand their language. It wasn't anything resembling a classic southern accent. Whole portions of words were clipped in rapid succession with a lilt of threat somehow woven into what appeared to be sentences as there were quizzical looks when what passed for communication paused. It took her about a year to figure out he was asking her if she wanted him to wash the windshield. You can count on it, that language is still there and has advanced to enjoy an increase in the ranks. And preachers.

Whenever you see a film about a preacher, there is a mental checklist he meets. He has to have scammed the congregants. He has to have an ongoing motelroom affair though happily married with several children and a slightly austere, comfortably over-adequate home. He has to get caught in the scam and the outside woman must dump him. In no particular order. That's probably a step away from snake handling, and neither version of the cultist bears any realistic basis to relate to the larger cultures existing throughout the globe, such as Islam. Perhaps the idea came to him while they were speaking in tongues and he misunderstood the original message which may well have been Burn the corn, possibly something related to biofuels, you think? I don't know. Perhaps someone gave him the idea. Perhaps it was all of reptilitan origin. Perhaps its a movement tied into the Ground Zero commemorations meant to increase the emptying of our pocketbooks for wider and more obese/obtuse war. You get to where you can read these thing just by a headline such as Why Drones? Because the Brits lost a batch of troops and Mister (Seal the) Gates decided war must be fought without accountability if he wants to have any supporters at all.

Between the rubble rousing and the snakes in the basket, our deciders diminish our safety. We don't have a lot left, those of us still inhabiting the land of the lost. The Laureate community organizer makes it perfectly clear his allegiance is to Bush, remarking in his televised speech today something close to The thing I admire most about Bush was his ability to bring us together over 911. And there we have it. Invoking that thing again. Re-bullhorning. It makes you want to weep. Well, weep away because you cannot do anything else. Behind the dabbing of tissue, there are mobs awaiting with all sorts of weirdness planned, events and situations so obnoxious and ludicrous you cannot imagine them, things so self-defeating and preposterous all in support of sheer nonsense. There are those who know exactly what they do and then there are the multitudes, flocks, Octomoms birthing evermore implanted enbryos skipping and singing behind them creating vast wakes of material excess all the while chanting against ... love. This is profoundly tragic.

You understand these "people" mean well overall, however, really, I don't want them speaking for me on any subject or issue anytime, anywhere. Do you? Are we a nation now of whitewater banjos or something? Yes, we have been paupered into backwoods snakery little by little, but if you look up you will see that is what has happened. Next, we'll see Alaskan moosekillers running the still. Do steel yourself.

Now, let's look at it from another angle. Think corporatocracy. How does diminishing humanity at large sell anything? Oh, it sells well indeed. It shuts down the arrogant and independent thinkers. It makes you appear a lone nutcase to back off from spewing hatred and targets love as some weirdo predator. Imagine that? You are to feel guilty and wrong for your love. Love was co-opted in the last century anyway, it may even be outlawed now according to the unwritten secret rules of executive privilege. I don't know, none of us sheared loving little sheep can know. Not even Julian Assange can help us now.

Breaking: Uh oh, the book burning looks like its back ON. For tonight.

The fever suits you. This was received as an inspired sermon, far more uplifting and nourishing than any I have found in any church, but I cannot locate the place to drop my tithe. I guess I'll just have to love you a bit more then.

I also noticed you were not packing heat and that snakes were not present. No speaking in tongues here, as every word and phrase was crystal clear. Praise Allah.

Thank you for sharing your views and yourself in spite of physical deficits.I want you to speak for us, and you don't disappoint. And soon will follow others who add to the chorus and before long we will be doing our small part to reject the insanity that is out there, even if only in a small way.

Stay warm!

Aw Z, you are a special man. Thank you for saying what you do the way you do.

Stupidity is a luxury and the U.S., at least, has decided to go on one last big spending spree before Christmas. Then we'll have another spending spree after that, then another, until the rest of the world gets the idea that we're giving them monopoly money.

Of course, Kunstler keeps saying the same thing along with dog knows how many ecology and climate change scientists. Yet the parade stretches on. It all reminds me of the time Mt. Diablo caught fire and my Concord neighbors set up lawn chairs at the end of the block and passed around popcorn while we watched the flames rage. What else can you do?

That was good Pango, there's no more room on the front page, however, the feat is equally as descriptive and the prizes as virtual...

Hey, I'm pretty psyched at just the one quote. One of these days I'll figure out how to be as clever in person as I am when I'm typing. Or not.

Hi nina and all.

The odd thing about Terry Jones (not the Monty Python one) is how the entire world now knows about him.

Burn all the Korans you want but if it isn't reported it might as well not have happened. He does appear to have had an almighty push in the global press which seems a bit odd for such a small time pastor. If such a small guy is getting such huge attention he has become useful for the promotion of the agenda of the PTB. A storm is manufactured in this case.

nina said...

John, you-are-right-on-the-money. Gimme five.

Has anyone thought how western believers would react if the Christian bible was "notoriously" burned by Afpak tribals?
Shudder...

Read somewhere yesterday yesterday that this mail-order fraud graduated with Rush Limbag from high school in Cape Giradeau, MO. I am penning a letter to the EPA suggesting that the water there be tested.

Funny how the story of this numbnut nozzle of a minister and his dumbass threat to burn Korans (that he admits he has never read), manages to push aside the simultaneous story that over a thousand engineers, physicists, and assorted scientists submitted a report that the Twin Towers and Bldg. 7 could have in no way fallen due to an airline strike. Had to have been a demolition. Period. and the original 9/11 Commission is calling for a Grand Jury investigation based on this new information. The mainstream media just delivered another pant load to commemorate 9/11... and almost the whole world went for it. Gag me with a spoon.

Be well, Nina.

These comments are better than sitting in the front row in the Honors section.

Welcome Athanasor. I don't expect much from official agencies, their standards for poisoned water, poisoned air don't appear to exist. If you don't hear back from them, what can you do? Have a consolation platter of fried shrimp?

nina said...

freeacre, extremely interesting isn't it? We know that someday the truth will come out. It has a way of doing that over time. In the meanwhile we live in crazyland where well over 2/3rds our fellows refuse to acknowledge we are existing in a controlled climate. It reminds me of a horrifying theme park exhibit, The Deathmatch, throngs lining the colonnades paying exorbitant fees to squeeze inside and lose everything over and over.
What do you make of the Afgani reaction to this Terry Jones display?
Manufactured events, manufactured reactions, manufactured opinion ...

Off topic (even though there isn't any off topic here): Does anyone know why the TSA is taking such a primary role in the San Bruno pipeline explosion? The TSA? Transportation Safety?

nina said...

..neil.., you have outdone yourself with that one, although I am more than fond of butterflies zigzagging in patterns. I can't look at them anymore without watching the weave.

This brings up something else for freeacre, we used to have lots of Monarchs. I've seen only one over the whole summer. The National Audubon Society is going to have to rewrite its guides, but they won't, its too much money and the changes are coming too quickly.

Just dropping in for a sec to thank you for the beautiful offering. No one completes our thoughts the wonder-fully poetic way you do.
Been busy and haven't caught up, even with the poetry post, but I will!
A while back I was visualizing sending some of our clouds over your way, since you-all were baking. I hope I didn't mis-specify the parameters, and caused the cold overload.

The truth has been "out" for some time for those equipped to see it. The rest grab whatever is at hand and start swinging. Have yet to read Les Visible's latest Petri Dish, but I get the feeling that he will lay all that out for us as only he can.

Hope you are feeling better.

Thank you Bho. You mentioned a few posts ago that you were going into the studio and then outdoors. "Catching up" probably isn't necessary, nothings changed, its only gotten weirder, Apocalyptically predictable.

..neil.., money is more important than life itself, human life, wildlife, plant life, sea life. Money is more important than the continuity of the species and the continuity of the Earth. I'm sorry to have to write that on my blog or let those words fall from my lips.
Shhhh, don't tell the little ones, yet. They will find out soon enough.

Upon the deathbeds of the people making up the oil and gas industry, will they request cash lined coffins?

Oops, sorry about that one too.

Everything is related. Not sorry about that. Its why we have gotten this far.

I'm better, thank you Z. Indeed, Vizzy lays it out like no one else. I always look forward to your comments over there. Actually, anywhere they appear, especially here. :)

I'm finding that "the truth" requires a very-serious-conscious-effort to maintain normal equilibrium. Its no wonder people don't want to know, or care, about what is happening.

Here's a kick in the head of sorts. Arrived totally out of the blue.

I just learned that I am the owner of some long-held mineral rights in the area of North Dakota known as the Bakken Shale formation. Purchased by a relative in the early part of the last century, the rights have passed down through family and my brother and I are now in line to make a claim.

Seems like all I have to do is pay a small filing fee and sit back and wait for the developers to come courting me so they can begin to do what they will do - get to extracting. This parcel has been undeveloped, but is now getting major attention with the discovery of what lies within this deposit.Cousins of mine have already filed and have reached terms with the drillers. The money is rolling in. They'll be happy to cut me in, of course. Just sign the papers.

Z and family being in a position to directly benefit from the raping of the earth on land stolen by my ancestors from the original inhabitants by force.

Gee, this is gonna be a tough one.

The Universe has a killer sense of humor, no?

I'm glad I'm broke and can't afford the fees. That will be the excuse for now when my relatives wonder why I'm not rushing to cash in. They couldn't handle the "truth" in this case, but I'll likely drop it on them anyhow.

I don't even want to read about fracking. The name alone tells me all I need to know.

Anyone want to go with me to ND and plant a garden there, just to ruffle the feathers?

Z

nina said...

Heh-uh-veeee.
The Universe and its sense of humor is naturally the same as ours, that why anything is humourous to us - as in universally funny. This is a good thing because it means life on other planets might have a similar humor as well. They may be just like us. Exactly like us.

Z, your position on this issue is honorable. Everyone you meet will tell you, you are nuts. Could be this is your make it or break it test. Will you go on to the Heavenly Realm or will you go to hell with the everybodies? There you go ... there are two doors ... the challenge, the choice is yours and yours alone.

May the Force be with you.

I'm confident we will be sending blessings to your Mom for your choice.

Nina;
The TSA is responsible for oversight of all natural gas and oil pipelines. It is a matter of interstate commerce. Can you help me with a question that I can't get my brain around? How is it that the southern culture, who never liked joos, can support john hagee with 60 million followers? Just because of the bullshit in the old testament? How and when did this happen?

Hello angel, I never find anything to disagree with you on. Snake handlers, LOL. I live in the south.

Zoner, take the cash and do something good with it--start a co-op, group living arrangement, farm, etc. I think wealth would be excellent because you can do a lot of good with it. We tend to forget that... ND is not all that good for farming, hence much is returning to native grasses. extract the wealth, and do something wonderful as part of The Remnant.

Nina, the TSA needs to justify its $17 trillion budget (or whatever) and 4.5 million payroll to "protect us"...

Meanwhile, Freeacre is so right; I watched a video of the 3rd bldg collapsing again--uh, what's the "official" explanation again? I distrust conspiracies but let's say it's "remarkable"....

Neat how it works, we comment and go away a few days and come back with more to say. Is that healthy or what!

nina said...

Charles, Tim, be back in an hour. Bernie the Basset is freekin' to go out.

nina said...

Excellent points, Charles, I agree with your ideas for Zoner. Thank you so much for offering your input. This is a situation it seems where I think he needs to know every option available.

Glad to see you safe and sound, no falling off a chickee roof or anything, hope the art was good and you enjoyed yourself.

And --- that was exactly my thought on the TSA's busybodying into Energy. Seems the whole thing is 1) Stop with the weapons and pay attention to crumbling infrastructure...2) Scare the living daylights out of an already Chicken Little public by telling them it could all go up at any second. Gee, that's better than a whole rainbow of alerts, isn't it?

One more thing, as I recall, that is the impression I am left with nine years later, Building 7 was on fire anyway, so Larry Silverstein, recent property aquiree, said Pull it.

Why exactly it was on fire, well, that part got fuzzed over pretty well.

nina said...

Tim, that is reasonable cause for the TSA to take some kind of a roll, but it seemed to the media, TSA was the only agency investigating in addition to PG and E.
TSA has everything to gain by elbowing in and PG and E has everything to lose by keeping it low key and local.

Pangolin said...

It seems we are in agreement on Zoner's situation. His refusal to participate won't save anything and in the meantime he needs a cash flow.

My thoughts are that the TSA is sliding in to cover-up/obfuscate the extent of poor pipeline maintenance and the inevitable connection to the Enron fiasco in California. Right now they are desperately trying to shut out municipal utility takeovers which have proven to charge less for power in California than PG&E.

There is nothing more horrific to our corporate masters than people having actual, solid, proof that government can do something better than the "free market" can. Of even be allowed to try.

Zoner said...

Thanks for the further advice, folks. I think it is time to begin to create a North American Shangri La outpost, and that is my intention.
