"What can we say about Obama's Peace Prize? A slap in the face of "bring it on? ..."That Peace Prize screams consolation. Of course it must have been known for awhile the perceived innocent community organizer, virginal and charismatic on the world scene, was a contender. How clever to bestow such an honor on an individual rather than rewarding the St. Valentine's regenerating degenerates. The bobblehead emptiness of his winning pearly whites is recognized - as in a Miss America pageant, but his handlers are welcome nowhere. If you think this was all planned to the nth degree, I'm on your side, candidate submissions closed February 1, 2009, after receiving 200 submissions. Was there ever a more transparent see-saw plot?
Indeed, a scorn slap in the face to the Pulp Fiction overdosed, the drunks crying tomorrow ... "Hurry up with that adrenalin injection! Damnit, throw em in a cold shower fer crysakes!" What else do we do to bring em around? Ah yes, the Prize ...
They don't want our dollars or our bailouts either, BTW, two rather fundamental, but too crass to mention, reasons to immortalize the lone individual, although they are forced to rely on them at the moment.
Everybody know what happens when you walk away from the Monopoly table. Those nice people you were so recently playing with grab everything and you are denounced, sour graped, whatever you said is mistranslated into dangerous accusations of the spoil sport who's probably gonna rat them out. How this will work when the basket of currencies is realized is yet to be known. I trust we'll be sending letters by carrier pidgeon from our bicycles which is OK with me. We'll have a lot more time to meditate anyway. That is, if we don't turn ourselves inside out and underwater in all hell breaking loose inflation wars.
The more fabrications covering truth, the more convoluted it grows, the more wars without end fomented (hated word) to revise failure fabricated into illusory successes. Especially multi-front failures, municipal, county, state, regional, nation, continental and the allied nations under the NWO. Everybody has a pony in the ring.
It has such a familiar feeling to it, doesn't it? Are you racking your brain yet? At its most basic, as Visible noted yesterday:
"... Politics is a world of strange contradictions. That’s how you can be both a pimp and a whore at the same time and have it make perfect sense..."Nobody will back down because they can no longer tell the difference between fantasy and reality, if they ever could, a situation vastly worsened by the calculated mandates they themselves sealed in stone which to this day still supercede through dogged persistence and brutal enforcement. This is 4th Generation Warfare at its most insane, forget the technology, we're looking at crisis management carpetbagging under multiple realities - actually an extremely common psychological mechanism many ordinary people unconsciously perform to keep themselves from achievemnt and thus, get by for entire lifetimes continuing through generations with the assistance of crutches - "I can't do this because of that" and "I can't do that because of this".
I bet Charles does a mean Little Wing.
Once upon a time, my father took a swat at me and missed, but broke my finger. I had to wear a cast and sling for six weeks. It was at the same time Little Wing was popular on late night FM. It fit so well. My friends and I went to a drive-in movie, it started pouring and we left. We were in the heavy hallucination stage by then, the windshield and windows were a mass of breathing colored exploding lights. At last, Little Wing came on the car radio and there I was, my little wing broken, we drove on. It seemed forever, entire chapters of civilization defined by the swish swish of the windsheild wipers. It has never been disproven I might be writing this from Heaven.

Nina dearest,
Have been down a rabbit hole, enjoying the damp earth and silence.
Popped up back on top soil only to hear this announcement.
Going back in to the space beyond this charade.
I really thought Morgan Tsvarangi should have been the recipient but then again this price is as worthless as the Brighton Autumn talent show.
Or the Ballground Georgia School of Dance spring recital.
I've missed you.
They had some deserving candidates, but you know, at the last minute one hand wash the other.
Like its gonna change anything on the world stage.
Like its gonna change anything on the world stage"
Contrary: Things could change very fast. Imagine this scenario:
Because of receiving the Nobel, Obama is now loved around the world, except by Arabs and some disgruntled Americans. The Peace Prize Prez gets wacked by some homegrown Timothy McVeigh type with “links” to Iran in a problem - reaction - solution staged event and the table is set for some very unpleasant activities in the form of a now “justified” attack on Iran along with the institution of martial law in the U.S. due to fear of all the ensuing chaos. The rest of the world will not lift a finger to stop it because there will be an outpouring of sympathy towards the US much greater than what was shown in the days after 911. The only thing that could put a wrench in things is if Putin decides not to play along and sides with Iran. But in either case things will get very ugly.
We are long overdue for an assassination attempt http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curse_of_Tippecanoe and the timing is perfect for having an attack carried out on Iran. I hope I am VERY wrong about this but it was the first thing that came to mind, instantly, when I heard the news about the Award. Something really stinks coming out of Stockholm with all this and it ain’t sur strömming…… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lU45i-lREPg
Nina, both your prose and the original thoughts that lay behind it continually impress me. Your creative use of subtly interwoven polarities and fundamental tensions as a means of telling ageless stories about life and death, ambition and ambivalence, insatiable greed and benign desire, pure love and loathing, cowardly fear and sneaking suspicion, gentle generosity and contemptuous cruelty where barbarism and civility are recognized for what they are and are allowed to co-exist like they do in the natural world you describe so eloquently continue to inspire me.
But are Solutions something better left to others? I admit I've given up offering up offering up solutions due to the antipathy they generate.
...You?
In my opinion, art, or at least REAL art should be described as anything that touches the inner mind's eye while bypassing the logic circuits deliberately created by humanity's jailers to stifle the true expression of the natural order and our individualist, never-ending quest for any explanation of the constructed and deliberate madness that we're all boiling madly away in just like those famous frogs in a stove top kettle were reported to do - dying without awareness of danger.
Judging your work by my perhaps simple-minded but overly complicated definition - your whole life appears to be an artistic enterprise destined to lead you eventually to a Nirvana of your own construction.
I'd like to be there reading when it happens.
One final thought - Your voice strikes me as deeply authentic, here as much as anywhere, whereas the voices of others I regularly read on-line, some at your urging, strike me as inherently false-because-they're-thinking-in-someone-else's-shorthand.
Is that because you're more honest than they are or is it simply that you admit what you don't know? Is it a gurl thang? Or is it simpler than that?
Jumping Jehoshaphat Rick! I had not thought of that, my gosh, a perfect trap, the sympathy ploy.
Remember the circumnambient wierdness that surrounded Obama's trip to see his grandmum in the hospital?
Interesting isn't it, you can see a person's flaws, mistakes, ineptitude, but still fear for their lives? What is that saying?
And if such a thing were to take place, Biden steps in.
In which case activities on the world stage jump to the next level as its going to do with or without sympathy ploys.
It is psychopathic to tweak an already dangerous and escalating situation with excessive maneuvers, but it would not be a surprise.
And the punchline: there are no maneuvers enough to resurrect this planet.
Thank you arthur, you do the same thing. You and I are intuitively tuned-in to the same station, that of basic intelligence interwoven with irony and humor. Not everyone gets me, but you do and vice versa. It is greatly appreciated. The highest compliment is to find one's point is completely received.
On the other hand, I am ignorant in comparison to the people who actually grasp facts and present genius conclusions, see Neptune1 for example, and I often miss by miles something that to people with the ability to juggle details is obvious. As for authentic, that's extremely important, you are authentic yourself, but so are others whose gifts lie in areas where we are just flubs. Thank Gawd for them. Where would we be without them, we'd have nothing to say at all!
You know arthur, I am very fond of you and when you didn't like my lyrics, that was a compliment to your own authenticity. I didn't like em either.
“And if such a thing were to take place, Biden steps in.
In which case activities on the world stage jump to the next level as its going to do with or without sympathy ploys.”
Yes Biden would step in unless they want someone else so it is important to take a look at the people down the line of succession and see what they are all about if Biden is not “the man”.
Every American schoolchild learns the tragic story of the assassination, just as the long nightmare of the Civil War drew to a close, of President Abraham Lincoln. They know of the shot fired by John Wilkes Booth into the brain of the great President as he watched Our American Cousin at Ford's Theatre on April 14, 1865. They know of Booth's dramatic leap from the presidential box to the stage, his cry as he ran of "Sic Semper Tyrannus!," his escape on horseback, and of his own death by bullet twelve days later in a burning Virginia barn.
Far fewer Americans, however, know that Booth's evil deed was part of a larger conspiracy of Confederate sympathizers--a conspiracy whose targets included Vice President Johnson and Secretary of State Seward and which had as its goal destabilization of the entire federal government.

I better stop - my imagination is running away with this. It is possible that the Nobel was just a consolation prize for Chicago not getting the Olympics? LOL, right……. Anyway if that was the case that means the vote on the Olympics was rigged in advance as well to tie it all together.
“Interesting isn't it, you can see a person's flaws, mistakes, ineptitude, but still fear for their lives? What is that saying?”
What that is saying is good people will always have empathy towards others, no matter what they do. It is our fatal flaw as it allows them to usually wiggle off the hook and to continue on with their evil ways seemingly unpunished. However karma always catches up with them in the end.
I personally would rather have this “flaw” because without it, we would be no different than them.
aahh, well yes/no/yes—haha, difficult to know what to believe these daze—no? What are we all doin' anyway, really—here? And just what is meant by here ? I've certainly been aware of the frog being gently boiled analogy, for quite some time now. 'Tis an apt one, and probably has been ever since frogs were gently boiled ... and humans slowly tenderised / softened, for the ?
Good to see the Constitution being given greater analysis, at least by bloggers. Long overdue, especially the part regarding duty to disobedience of tyrannical rulers—hah! Like a lot of unfortunate souls exposed to the ruthless truth, unfettered by glossomalia—the solution was glaringly obvious. Why wait until cooked? Jump skillet! Get outta Dodge—whatever. No sense in nonsense. Nice analogy actually—comfortable and warmth like a nice hot bath, stupefying us to external realities of some malevolent hidden agenda—I think perfectly describes our current predicament.
Glaringly obvious too, to former presidents, to have forseen the necessary provision of articles of faith, preserved in law. Lest there should become a time, when tyrannical rulers would usurp the inalienable rights of human dignity. Behold that time is now upon us. Thomas Jefferson's words were written for our times ... and the winter of our discontent ...
For whatever it's worth, at the risk of muddying the waters: "The voice of the people has been said to be the voice of God; and, however generally this maxim has been quoted and believed, it is not true to fact. The people are turbulent and changing, they seldom judge or determine right." ~ Alexander Hamilton (1755-1804) My point in quoting this quote? Do we really know what we want—and would we know it, if we saw it? Or obtained it?
Yes—yes, malleable inculcated recipients of various awards / prizes, are more easier to handle. So is a deceived populace. Especially before the age of, say 25. Military, for example rejects you beyond that age—too questionable, disobedient to orders—haha, instability to the unit, cohesion blah bah. Secret to the success of Hitler's Youth Movement—future Gestapo: no questions—Seig Heil. And no confusion / unanswered questions, typical of civilians.
PANGOLIN—What kind of crazy name is that anyway?—ahh, you ain't so crazy. In fact, you're sensitive to the insanity which surrounds you sickening you. The trick is understanding this fact, completely. You know, an aha—moment/s. The esteemed radical 60's psychiatrist R.D. Laing once said, (back in 1970); "In a hundred years we'll look back on this barbaric time, and think what fools we all were, trying to cure them, when it was they who were trying to cure us!" ~ The Bird of Paradise and the Politic of Experience. The Them and Us being, well—you fill in the blanks. Haha—Kendo stick disguised as a broom.
Hey, I'm a space-traveller just passin' through, thought I'd stay just a little while (on earth). Kind of, a lost Mayan ~ OK, baz, back in yuh cage son.

Encouraged by the Nobel prize, the Islamic womens deep underground network, which also supplies them spices of various kinds, reject both capitalism and the myths that has crept into their religion. The students and all join and the mullahs are retired.
Gay and Feminist groups ally with them worldwide, environmentalists and all join in and power shifts almost overnight. The pope and the rest join the mullahs in retirement. Generals and politicians run the retirement camps.
Those judged to be sociopathic killers are given knives and taken to a secure compound in the Australian desert to deal with each other.
Not impossible is it? Highly improbable and a touch naive, yes. But not impossible.
In this strange world.
VW: go-te-p-tin. Go to Putin? Hmm, the Word Generator Prophet is getting better all the time. So, what do I say to Putin?
VW #2: re-put. Well go ahead, say it!
Neptune1: ...that means the vote on the Olympics was rigged in advance as well to tie it all together....
If it looks like a duck and if the shoe fits, it walks like a duck and you can wear it.
This is how we know time is just a hologram.
You'll recall that fabulous Captain Willard line in Apocalypse Now, "Who's in charge here?"
Hi Baz, you must not have seen the link I posted a while ago, here's another view of Pangolins. Dig the armor. I wonder where he is today, anyway? Oh yes, its Sunday, he's at dance church. Two Pangolins
I was just being sarcastic about the Nobel being Howdy Doody's booby prize. But yes, if in reality that was what it really was, it would mean the vote was rigged in advance for that too in order for it all to play out. I am just having a little fun musing, don't take me too seriously. As Baz said: difficult to know what to believe these daze—no?
I never close the door on The Muses and do take their advice to heart N1. To understand their message is the trick. I'm learning slowly.
One of the things that gives me shudders is many encourage the myth that apocalypse need come for global cleansing to take place. I can neither swallow that or the Blood of Redemption myth. How many pray for war in order for The Redeemer to come?
And yea, the Illuminati or whatever/whoever, could be rigging the show.
Came to me this morning that H1N1 could be an extra-terrestrial innoculation to modify the DNA of Homo Sapiens. Something like a software upgrade. Or, a glitch patch. Maybe. I'm sure there are dvotees of that.
A prophecy or great educated guess can have it's effect on the final outcome.
I want to hear them all, I have to believe none.
Yes, things could change very fast. I keep my knife and pencil sharp and myself as flexible as possible.
Now is the time to keep the Lions guarding the gates of Self awake and alert and to value friendship.

VW: calahar. The desert we may end up like. I'm rootin' for Shangri-La. The WG Prophet has to spit it out eventually.
Rick and the Rasta have a great deal more in common than first meets the eye.
If the muses were never acknowledged, the enemy is never identified and surrender the only possible outcome.
Nina thank you for the kind words and inspired commentary. Alas I can only cover the chords for "Little Wing" --someone else will have to play the lead...
Hi Charles, maybe that lead would be Zoner's aka Z, from the Minnesota sound farms where they grow legends. He happens to be leaving your area right now, but plans to return to stay. Gosh, could he tell you some stories that would put all the more weight to your graphs.
When Z returns, we'll all have to get together and dance and jam and commiserate and weep and laugh all night. Zoner is famous for having bought 60 guitars on ebay at the height of the boom. And then, guess what happened?
Dear arthurdecco, I've just made an awful discovery, I have to accept third party cookies in order to edit anything on my homepage from my homepage. I will still delete them constantly, but when you find them, you can delete them too under Foxfire's "Tools" tab, then click "Options".
I know its a bummer, but the little edit icons you don't see, my clickable editing tools when signed-in to blogger, are obviously contracted out to third parties.
The solution is to uncheck the third party box when no editing is going on. OK? Are we clear now?
"OK? Are we clear now?" nina
Yup.
nina, I've been erasing the cookies in the way you suggest since way before I first pointed out the problem with them on your blog last week. As a matter of fact, it was because I was doing a routine sweep at the same time I was actually paying attention that I discovered the cookie problem in the first place.
But that's why I use Firefox. I'm comfortable with the security it affords me when used in conjunction with the myriad of alternate security systems I've installed to protect me from the kinds of creeps and monsters who luv to screw with my hardware and software because they don't like me or my outspoken, (and convincing), opinions.
lol
By the way - the Title Art just now is Tragically Magnificent!
The mirror is the key to the whole thing.

Controlling the mental reality of that big stupid beast we call 'the public' has always been the only war that matters. It's the one issue that Jesus, Ghandi, Hitler, Mao, Sun Tzu and Buddha all agree on. If you put too many gears in the watch they all get more delicate and likely to bounce into each other when jolted. Martin Luther bounced the Catholic Church just when things were a bit fragile and we're still sorting that mess out.
When we get pissed off at Obama for walking down the cattle chute we loaded him into who's fault is that? It would be awfully nice if he started kicking but Congress, the Democratic congress, is showing that it has a taste for long pork and cattle prods are snapping at any balking by our Nobel Laureate in Chief. The Nobel Committee is/was waving a scent flag under Obama's nose hoping to shift him into a rut for immortality.
Still, I'll take that bull in that chute over 'the people' at large since in California we've proven that 'the people' will vote for no taxes for corporados, lemonade springs, a big rock-candy mountain, and eternal time-outs for theft of a piece of pizza. We're frapped until 'the people' get enough of a toothache to drill out the rot.
Brazil got the Olympics because endless Brazilian tits-n-ass will make better T.V. than Chicago will provide or did we not observe the women's volleyball last Olympics with the sprayed on outfits. Circuses are still cheaper than bread and they can count on molecule thin women's costumes requiring the famed 'Brazilian Wax' to keep the Olympic coffers full.
Turey_Greg Bear wrote a book called Darwin's Radio (science fiction) that presents a scenario where GAIA uses DNA as a computational system and viral vectors as editing software that modifies her wayward children. I've never found a reason why it isn't plausible. Some others postulate that Ayahuasca and like sacraments allow humans access to the Matrix steering us towards singularity. Or we could just be really, really stoned while we go off the cliff. No loss either way.
Baz_I'm using an old handle from an eye hoe. Those kendo sticks aren't long enough; or fat enough.
arthurdecco_Thank you for pointing out the mirror. I'll I could think of was the rain hinted as on route. Things are snapping dry around here.

Thanks Pangolin.

Monday morning.
Rush hour. For the rushists dem.
At peace and playing with Nina's magnificent Word Generator Prophet.
VW: ily-ti-sci. I'll give him some Kushumpeng oh prophet. But who is sci?
October 12th and all's well. As far as the killer flu, ww3, asteriod collision, Yellowstone eruption, cosmic wave blast or the 7 Horsemen. And as well as one can be in current circumstances.
Bro G recommends keeping rush at bay. Best to cleave to the here and now.
I recommend getting a sharp cutting implement that fits your hand nicely and be pocketed comfortably. I wear mine as a pendant on a loop of nylon cord. It should be of legal length blade (sorry Brits, they took that away from you) to keep hassle free. A blade that is strong and can keep a nice edge. Get a set of sharpening stones and learn to keep said blade sharp.
It cuts my fruit and veg, whittles wood and other good stuff. I do not plan to draw blood with it. Every student in my school would make their knife by say 9. A computer before that. Any use in anger or carelesness would be a serious matter.
A carpenters pencil is a good writing, drawing and defence tool. Keep it sharp and shaped. It may be used to mark wood later, it's original purpose. Meantime I always have a good hi tech pen on clip. Where are those tough cover notebooks with plain white paper inside. Sized to fit a back pocket?
Remember, this is the Digital Age. More than time that the 10 digits we have at the termination of our arms get strengthened by good work.
The thought of so many fingers going off to offices where all they do is qwerty and fiddle; then rush hour back to house that tries to be home, set this rant off.
Nina's joystick jockey blowing his paycheck after guiding death in a tube is the top waster of them all.
Now back to beating those swords into plows. Plutonium will be the big challenge.
turey.
arthur, I'm so glad you SAW the photo. Your comment is especially appreciated. It was put there for people who grasp the layers of disaster on multiple fronts taking place simultaneously. One glance and there are one or two things going on, by the third or fourth glance, the depth of horror only BEGINS to reveal its scale. I think its a POA masterpiece. There are about 50 more in a huge series that flesh out the event. He will tell you he could have done a better job if he wasn't being constantly held back by the officials. For you, I'll put up this work in the gallery sometime this week. Again, thanks!
Man, Pangolin, you got the word. Definitely, you would be difficult to live with cuz you see everything.
Oh turey, I just made a long comment to you and it vanished. The web is fragile.
Point by point:
The I can get those toughback blank books in the art supply store, pocket-size or any size you need. How about a 4" x 6"?
Another use for your survival jewelry would be peeling citrus, hang the one long twirl on a nail and cut a piece to throw into your draut. You already know that one, hunh. In the bigbox market its called zest - for six buck plus in a teeny tin.
I'm laughing lately at the sudden popularity in rocket stoves. Have you noticed, like coal pots never existed anywhere before now?
Ites, praises.
Thanks Nina, that's the size. I'll check the art shops. The 1$ store ones fall apart and they are lined.
Orange oil was used also during 'Hitla Waar' in lamps as kerosine wasn't available.
Nothing tastes like food cooked in a coal pot. It's best done in Jah-Make-Her though. I got a sun oven, worked great, slow and free.
I usually travel with the famous white rum. For wounds, fuel for my alcohol stoves (Methylated Spirits/Methyl Hydrate is cheaper), smell for refresh, extracting oils etc.
Knives and rum. I must be some sorta.....Croidsh(VW).
Please tell POA that the highway pic is a winner. I felt it!
turey.
How could I resist (VW) dis dat.
BTW way Nina who be Rick?
Irie Ites, turey.
Rick? Hmmm, Rick is very special. I'd better let him identify himself, its a very easy thing to do, but if he wants to do it, I must allow him to do it however he sees it.
Excuse me Rasta, I have a little Rick worship going on. I have that with all my peeps ... you too.
Ras turey, Rick's current blogs: Writings on the Wall and
Playlist.
And he also has an unusual history. That's the part that he'll have to explain in his words if he wants to tell us. He made available to everyone whole philosophies that gave confirmation to the "muses" we mentioned yesterday. In my own words, I'd have to say much of the language I use everyday now was adopted from concepts he presented, material we would never have found or taken another year or two to get around to reading by sheer happenstance. But you really asked a great question after thinking about it, yes, and I have always wanted to ask him the same thing which is why did he change something that gave so much to so many?
Turey_knives and rum make sense to me. I never drink the rum but use it to preserve, dilute, extract, light or clean whatever is handy; except I use vodka in deference to a Russian great-grandmother.
Honey is better for wounds though. Honey will suck the bad right out of an infected wound.
Nina_the coal pot is no more a rocket stove than the chinese hot pot is. Pretty damn useful though. My sister is the family expert on cooking in a Dutch oven being an authentic professional back-country cook for the CCC of a time.
You tagged that being perceptive is a PITA right on. The bits I can see I see clear as day and the bits I don't are muddy water. I'm slow on the emotional uptake so that just makes me the geek squad right there.
Learning to shut up in company when excited about something is a challenge. It's like talking about light to a non-artist. The eyes glaze.
v'word: chors
as in preaching-to...
Don't worry about the choir, we find you very interesting.
I have looked at a whole bunch of rocketstoves and they are just brick versions of the sculptural clay coal pot. The real Afro-Caribbean coal pots are generally not known in the western world, you'd have to have lived with the people who make them/use them to know how the system works. It starts with a lady down the hill who makes coals and the children who carry them home in the coals bag, a used paper bag kept for only that purpose, before daybreak so you can cook up the cocoa tea as sun rises, the grating of the cocoa stick takes place while the children are on the errand. Later you make a nice vegetable soup with some conch and let it simmer all day so anybody can drop in and fill the belly while they visit. Visiting is a part of the system. Would you like to hear about the grater? Its a flat rectangle of galvanized that you hammer nails through on one side only, making thousands of holes. Then you bend it to a half cylinder and nail sticks at each end for the handles so you can hold it securely for grating anything, like dried citrus peel. It just seems so sensible when you go to walmart and they have only these flimsy plastic graters that break after one potato.
Are your eyes glazing? Maybe I don't know what your particular rocket stove is? A hot plate on a space shuttle?
Important link copied from Ran's blog, for all. Hard to find a clip-byte that nutshells something so complex but so easy and obvious, you might already be there. Rituals for Lover Earth
[a clip]... As we release ourselves into the story of the connected self and Lover Earth, as that story becomes real to us and we believe it in every cell, we become capable of miracles: things which were impossible from the old story, but possible from the new...
Ah, Nina. Excellent!! That is exactly the reply I needed over at Neptune's blog.
Given the option of a linear future that looks to be a disaster or a fractal future where an exceptional change occurs and creates an exponential wavefront of positive change I will hold out for the latter while preparing as I can for the former.
Sort of a 'trust in God but tie your camel' approach.
I'm holding out for a new, better, story for all of us. If I have to keep telling a new story every day until we all get it right I'll do that. I won't be the only one either. Somebody has the true story in them waiting to swell, break and carry us to the blessed shore.

Now it all falls together, finally, Livity, self-representatives, extreme selfishness, rituals, ecstasy outdoors, oneness, allness, yeah, I know Pango, it really works. Every cell says so, we ain't crazy, never were.
To all: I'm re-reading some of Tony Hillermans's early Chee/Leaphorn crime fictions just now and I'm becoming more and more interested in the Navajo philosophical descriptions and musings he incorporates into his plots.
The Navajo 'way' appears to be something several of the commenters here aspire to without consciously crediting it.
It is a noble way, credited or not.
sorry peoples—nothing new; same old, same old. Powerlessness under the Sword of Damocles, I mean Democracy. Oligarchies have always driven the unsuspecting mass herd, this way and that, manipulating them for best advantage—theirs, not yours. If nothing else, millions of pages of history attest to this fact—apart from we don't learn. Just the same tired old song—lamentations—we sing in every age of despotism.
Like small children dragging our blankies around with us, refusing or unable to come to terms with harsh realities confronting us, withdrawl into the comfort of cocoons. Led astray and abducted by perverse capricious whims (occultic agendas*). Hegemonies, the acquiescence of people to be ruled by a state, relying on programmed / rewarded militaries to quell peasant uprising—from them !
*So what was GWB doin' with the Pope in the Bohemian grove anyway—and his father before him ... and so what?
Farmed human herds are prevented / forbidden from ever seeing the real picture. Purposely obfuscated for international Corporate security—The Military Industrial Complex — normal operating procedure / protocol apply—subterfuge, clandestine activities of ALL varieties — deception, industrial spying etc., are standard fare ... on the boat ride to the Styx straits. The good soldier / employee of the state of Prussia is inculcated from birth / inception to obey — no exceptions, ahh—none Yes—sir! *salute*. Ours is not to question why, 'tis but to do or die—into the Plain of Esdraelon rode the 1st calvary. Towel-heads to the left of them, Tony Blair to the right. Standard tools and methodology of combat apply —across the board. Keep the citizenry ignorant. A dazed and confuzed enemy is easier to subdue. Better yet, starve him out—quality food, truth. Where presidents are still only grease lubricating the gears and machinery of war—and hanging by a single horse-hair.
Even the maniacal laughter remains the same—HAHAHA—as the ship of fools sails on.
hello kids.
I have nothing to say. Nina is a possessed of some kind of oracular insight. arthuradecco is sharp as a tack, and brutally honest. Baz is the Sean Connery character in Zardoz. su, Chickory, all wonderful.
I personally have nothing to say. I will say that Compact Fluorescent light-bulbs are a hoax, especially if you live in a cold climate and need to heat your house: the "waste heat" of a standard old-fashioned incandescent bulb is not really wasted. It heats your rooms, and reduces the need for the furnace or fireplace.
I'm thinking of building a fish trap out of chicken wire and surreptitiously placing it in water off the bank of the river nearby. Any thoughts on this? I would take no more fish than I would via sport-fishing (for which I have a license), but I don't have the time to sport-fish. If I am not greedy, will these actions be unethical? Immoral?
I am just trying to get some training in for the end of the sucker's rally and the end of the phony war against the middle class (and the start of the hot war).
Wild Baz, chock full of fact and metaphor. You are saying the ship of fools is going to t-bone our airboat? Not a chance.
And Publius, OF COURSE THERE WILL BE HUGE FEES, are there not huge fees on everything? If you have to have a fishing license, naturally you would have to obtain a fish trapping license.
