Take #9

And thus it was in blinding fog, mist, icy temps and the occasional downpour, life became unglued from its routines, its simplicity, its familiarity and warmth in a swiftly moving beam reach, heeling port towards an unchartable course in uncharted waters.  We can, when called, gather an invisible interior crew together for the heavy lifting, just follow the light.  The problem came when the headlights went out and I followed close behind a truck ahead, using its light, certain the Force would not let me down, which it has not, not when you are guided by the Force to start with and do not deviate from its intuited direction.  It is when we move around ignoring the voice we get into trouble, hassles, meet with unpleasant circumstance which has a way of tying us up for sometimes months, even years, decades, expensively, foolishly, so much time wasted on the disappointing, increasingly disastrous outcomes interacting with Wetiko complexities, intersecting with the cubic corners in the shadowy recesses of the poisoned hybrid mind, that could have been so easily avoided had we paid attention. They enjoy making it impossible to pay attention.

I don't exactly know anymore what to call the Force.  Some speak of the Divine, the Ineffable, the Creator or God, but beyond doubt, there is something there, greater and more of everything we will ever be.  This Force I am speaking of has it over Everything and we can only work to allow ourselves to be a willing vessel filled with this Force, hopefully receive direction, insight, answers, connections, talents and send it freely outwards as close to what we receive as possible, although it is completely impossible to recreate that which flows through the human vessle.  We will never be pure enough in this journey, in these bodies, clumsy with shabby excuses and justification.  If we purified everything about ourselves, we wouldn't even come close.  To accept our failing is to accept the guidance of the Force knowing we will never know anything absolute until the Force has chosen to accept us into the Human Realm. Always, in the process of ignoring the higher spirits, we end up in circles going nowhere.  This is why people fear the unknown, taking leaps at all, preferring to re-chart the old familiar easy courses, arriving at the same isolated destination repeatedly, lifetime after lifetime, hiding behind patterns that never worked in the first go-round, deluding themselves that somehow the ship can right itself while the great Sea of Humanity swallows whole the mast.

There has never been a single time I feared the leap.  Early on, likely during Chess, I asked my Father about his experiences at sea. The game paused as I was awed by stories that would make a nonbeliever's hair stand on end.  The Square Circle is appropriate today.  His Hellcat left the carrier in bad weather, not much time passed before he was lost high above an ink black ocean and mentally reviewed his flight manual.  He said he flew in a square circle for hours lowering and raising altitude as darkness blocked out his view.  Just before his fuel was exhausted, he spotted a pinpoint of light far in the distance and made it back to the flight deck safely.  He never panicked, never doubted, always sure with himself and his craft, guided to a safe harbor by a higher Force.

One technique that helps us survive whatever harm comes into our path is to pre-condition yourself for the experience.  I used to imagine in heavy weather during long cruises out of sight of land, without charts, bum radio, exactly what might occur if I lost my first mate overboard.  Mentally take all the steps required for a safe rescue during the worst possible circumstances.  As if you were blind, feeling your way as you went along, reaching for the helm because you memorized every navigation aid aboard and activated all the correct steps insuring safety leaving nothing to chance.  Heh, so I insisted on our adorning harnesses roped to the foredeck, forged onward under bare poles, preventing having to execute the Square Circle under the duress of darkness, overwhelmed in the noise of angry seas, or suffering a broken mast from a mainsail ripping jibe.

Our photos today are general purpose, some California unseens and some Arizona unseens.  They have meaning to our essay as you desire, or not.  You should be able to enlarge with a right click to open link in a new tab.  Each of them is a part of an unfinished document -  from January to the present, Twenty Twelve, a sort of digital diary of highlights, when I remembered to take the camera, because the camera lives with my art supplies and the photos were not the only highlights.  The most consistent highlights I keep meeting are acts of human compassion, the number one emotion separating good from evil and its disease-compromised followers.  It does exist, its alive and well, you get the feeling in this town real fast that everybody knows and no one has any idea what to do about it.  That's because the mob was once KING here.  Long time residents know the drill. Extreme Wal*Mart cheap technology and undersized underwear appears to have dulled overt awareness however.  The illegal family man with toddler on shoulders was losing his pants showing full crack and red silk knickers weaving into Wal*mart's Ballroom Joblot as I pretended not to look.  I take that back, it was Wal*Marts Stadium NASCAR triple blowout joblot.  Their veneer plastic lawn funishings Halloween costumed as Teak @ $15.00 US gives you a clear view into the lifestyles of people whose awareness is, let's say, not keen. Nor should it be after the harrowing leaps all of them have taken for ... for what?  Keep it to yourself.  There are two sides to every story is the saying which we can rework to say each person comes at it from a unique perspective.  My father's words "Everybody has a story."

There is a block of text in the lower left margin on this page worth reading and reading often, especially when you are considering leaps and tying harnesses to yourself.   May you listen clearly to the Force whispering in your ear and guiding you through every hour, every day and night.  We are in full-on crazy time now.   We knew it was coming and we could not pin point the visual although omens often showed themselves.  Once again, we have all the answers within us, we must learn to recognize them and act appropriately.  Second chances in this journey have already been taken, third, maybe fourth, fifth and sixth chances, but that is all in the past.  This time is here and now, and you know the ropes as well as the crowd in this city knows the drill.  Our country and its idealistic ideals, the base, our lives upended, as an entire civilization disintegrates before our eyes, it seemed impossible to continue such an extremely dangerous, unhealthy, threatening course, every decision the wrong decision against all forms of life in existence on the Living Planet.  But roll on it does, exactly as the giant rubberhog tires on the 'Cat garbage compactor roll and grind, a two-story tall, massive death machine, pressing into miles of hills and valleys of the LA city dump, twice as high as myself ... I was driven to stare at it.  The Security guard asked me if I wanted to ride on it which I did and climbed into the front, squeezing against the inside window while the operator in back of me pressed hard into the continuously renewing sea of styrofoam, hairpins, toothpaste tubes, plastic shopping bags, half-eaten, loose and maggoty McDonald's kiddy meals, high chairs, mattresses, TVs, saran wrap, plastic bottles, crushed milk cartons with sideways straws, broken carseats, cheerios boxes, socks, cartoons scraps and gnarled  logos of the trash legal Personhoods litter over the planet in glee oozing though the dark spaces between each recognizable item in rivers of bubbling dung.  I apologize for not owning a digital then, much less a cell phone video cam.  Doomers would appreciate how fortunate I felt for the experience.  The highlight, of course, being sworn witness to the carnage in real time and fully explanatory, an undeniable truth in 3-D, flesh and blood in-your-face.  Few things on our journeys are so well defined.

See lower left margin T'ao Ch'ien. "... ever away into this hundred-year life and beyond, my story and I vanish together like this."

Have completed (for now anyway) a long tour of Hot springs wizard's photography. Just
click on this link, view and keep going back in time by clicking "older", back through Burning Man and further, as far as you can handle.
Wizzy, you are the M-A-N. Whew! Words fail me. My happy eyes are twirling like the Twilight Zone vortex, freakin' wonderful!

Thank you for your generous compliments about my photos Nina. I'll be posting some pics soon taken last week during my visit and soak at Deep Creek Hot Springs. Towards sunset after everyone else had left a pair of Mallard Ducks came swimming over across the pool ( I took some pics ) in the creek near the hotpools to feed and nibble at the sand underwater, in a location where the hot water flows into the creek which I'm sure warmed their little webbed feet :-) I also took some close ups yesterday in the late day golden sun of blooms on the Joshua Tree outside our front door, reminded of your recent pic of a Joshua out the window :-)

You may see some snow late tomorrow afternoon and evening Nina, cold storm and big winds coming. Regarding those stones we have spoke of recently, whether of GI orgins or the mega floods stripping the canyons, check out in the Bing " Birds Eye " satelite view the huge area of sand and dunes at the bottom of the Colorado River just before it hits the Gulf Of California ( on its upper north west side ).

After the Colorad exits the last valleys and hills it hits this area and it seems to me that its a perfect location for sands to settle out from the spread out flow from the postulated mega floods from ancient lake Hopi and Canyonlands lake, which covered most of what is called the Colorado Plateau millions of years ago. I really enjoy exploring any place on earth with the myriad satelite images. Also been looking at amazing varieties of cloud formations over the Pacific lately utilizing the Nasa Goes satellite 24-7 feed :-)

Nina, if you get a chance to do any of those outdoor recreation items I mentioned, Red Rock west of Vegas is the easiest/closest, or the 3 mile walk down the wash leading through an incredible canyon gorge to the Colorado river heading to Arizona Hot Springs is great this time of year before the desert starts really heating up.

I think you will find much subject matter for your painting considerations. I'm wondering if some of your photos are renderings from previous photos you have taken. Thanks again Nina for your considerate thoughts about my pics :-)

Also regarding the viewing of my photos, the easiest way to paruse through them is to click on the Hotspringswizard's Photostream link to the right of the photo in Nina's provided link, which takes you to the thumbnail page, then near the bottom you can click on whichever page to view the thumbnails. Then just click on a photo of interest to view it larger, and then using the " actions " link ( above pic on left ) there are even larger versions available.

HSW, I have been using photography as an important adjunct to painting ever since my first Brownie. The difference is however, since I took the shot in person, when I recreate it in paint, I already see it completely differently than someone who paints a photograph, but has never actually experienced the real thing, which you and I both have. I am often told I see things in more detail and this is because of self discipline and adoration of nature. You might easily say the same.

“Unsettled, a bird lost from the flock --
Keeps flying by itself in the dusk.
Back and forth, it has no resting place,
Night after night, more anguished its cries.
Its shrill sound yearns for the pure and distant --
Coming from afar, how anxiously it flutters!

It chances to find a pine tree growing all apart;
Folding its wings, it has come home at last.
In the gusty wind there is no dense growth;
This canopy alone does not decay.
Having found a perch to roost on,
In a thousand years it will not depart.”

Few words need to be exchanged here, I love your blog, and the poem above can express this better..<3

Wow, Nina, one of your best--and I say that every time, don't I? I could imagine myself in your Dad's Hellcat (what a great aircraft!) over the dark immensity of the Pacific--talk about a lonely flight. I like hearing about your bond with your Dad; too many daughters never got the chance to have one.
Yes, plan for the worst. Did you feel that 4.0 earthquake? We did because the first one was right under us. Just a little reminder that "the worst" to humanity is just a shrug of nature....

AJ, how you doing in this dust storm?

This is unprecedented for as many times as I have visited LV, I had not seen it before. I can barely see my laptop screen, outside and the skyline has vanished. All the sand/dirt from the stables has blown up to the deck. Its swirling in eddys. Its got to be a climate chaos phenomena.
Where there are not melting glaciers, wildland firestorms, tornadoes, droughts, there is sand which has the potential to bury cities, homesteads, suburbs. I'm more and more convinced Nature will have her way and that's how it all disappears.

I have to laugh, Vegas is not somewhere I would normally go if left to myself but I ended up there some years ago for a week during union meetings.

You can win at Vegas, at least in black jack. I know you are laughing and I will tell you how. You must find a black jack dealer who likes you and you have an understanding. This one was very funny he kept saying don't let the house get it all when someone would tip him. I would give him ten to 20 bucks every time I won. He had picked a nickname for me, called me the ranger and he would say "the ranger" understands Vegas!

Anyway I tipped him a 20 dollar bill when I first walked to his table one night and he dealt me a 21 right off the bat. He wasn't using the mechanical dealer thing he just dealt off the bottom of the deck. I ended up winning 600 dollars there in a week and no telling how much I tipped him and the girl bringing the cognac, boy was she good looking. They bring free cognac also as long as you are betting.

Then he dealt me a 21 the next two deals also. I got pretty loaded and was exclaiming to some friends " I know Vegas."

The funny thing is they always have little spy holes in the ceiling where they can watch you and dealers to make sure nobody is cheating the house. The crew boss walks around periodically looking over the dealer. This particular guy looked Italian, so once as a joke I spoke very loudly, I said hey Vinnie I am going to get you that ten thousand I owe you just give me a week. This guy would just shake his head smile a bit and walk off. Finally he just stopped coming to my table.

AJ's comment is what I feel about this page too - how perfect his choice was.

the Tao poem was the very thing I needed to read tonight. its rare I feel lonely -but I have this week. alone philosophically. I did take the walking stick to my mountain, but I do miss my family.

nina said...

A Chine-ese El-vis wedding, hahahahaha
the visuals must have been unforgettable.

Actually, dwelling here, Chickory, the Strip is a whole different world, literally, world's apart. For one things, the low population gives city residents a somewhat small town-communal frame of reference. Its appears as mostly a two-story version of crumbling townhouse communities and the developers version of gated adobe, big and small. Ghettos, strip malls, tar-bandaged major thoroughfares. One of which is a Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive. Very typically American except for the distinctly western feel, more and more obvious the longer I am here.
There is a thriving culture on all levels and people feel the pain in their creativity. No one is into green Roundup Ready lawns, its gravel and cactus everywhere. In the lower income neighborhoods, they just let it go.

We missed each other by millimeters! Next time we'll take a ride in the rockbuggy.

Nina, regarding Bing, just enter bing.com in your address bar, then click maps at top, then look for " birds eye " at upper left. Also click the little sideways triangle to make the view go full screen, then use your cursor tool which slides the pages up or down to zoom in or zoom out on the satelite image. Put your cursor on the area that your focusing on before zooming. Let me know if you need further directions. I'm using internet explorer so I don't know how Firefox works with it.

I hiked to the top of Turtle Mountains today in the gale force winds, challenging, and fun :-) More photos put up today at my site, including one from my hike today, which I titled " Infinite Awareness ". That pic is looking down towards the Victor Valley, from roughly the same spot as the sunset pic " Fire In The Sky " that you commented to recently. There was so much dust from the wind the late day sun was all flared out. Then a little work with the photo tools, and walla, The Eye Of Truth. You will see what I mean :-)

Hello Nina ..... Another wonderful snap shot of our unraveling world and the importance of following the internal guidance of the higher self....

A few things to share...eft tapping..simple easy method of physical and emotional pain relief ! Google it!

On January 2, 2012, Princess Kaoru Nakamaru of Japan spoke about the impending changes after December 21, 2012, including the shift to a 5th dimensional planet, but not before three days and three nights of complete darkness without the capability of using anything electrical. According to Princess Nakamaru, those in high levels of government are aware of these changes, which is why they have built their underground bunkers. Princess Nakamaru does not think these bunkers will save the elite.

Terrance, I'm not getting solid footing with the Princess, unless she IS the real thing and all the blogs associated with her search results want to smear her as a self-proclaimed kook. Her message certainly goes along with what we know to be too real.

And the eft, a wonderful thing! Of course it works, tender touch applied to hurting places always heals. Some people can't reveal how helpful it is, shy or blocked or whatever, but the results are immediately responded to with the more free - animals and children.
I didn't really know it had a name and a school of thought. Thank you.

freeacre said...

"...Our country and its idealistic ideals, the base, our lives upended, as an entire civilization disintegrates before our eyes, ..." That line, Nina, reminds me of a poem I wrote years ago that may fit here.

The Last Ones

Who were the last ones? How did they feel?
The last of the European monolith builders, those gentle women who built the round stone houses, knew the herbs nursed the villages to health with full and wondrous breasts full of life and love for their people... who were the last ones?
Or the Hopi people, watching the exodus from the cliffs, leaving behind the dwellings cared by the fathers of tens of generations. Deserted by the animals and the grasses that had been their hope and the Gods that had been their life.
Or the followers of the Pharaoh Amenhotep IV, those gentle believers of only one great and good and omnipotent God who was the source of love and grace and beauty and peace. And, when the vulgar hordes took over and the last devotee turned his eyes to the likeness of Nefertiti in despair - what did he way to his children?
Or how about the Essenes, so pure of heart and intention that all the women were called virgins and all the men were brothers. So smart and visionary that they called forth the Son of God himself to teach once again that we are all one.

What were the arguments used against them? That their message was impractical? That their methods were ineffective? That their leaders must be replaced with those who were more effective, more ruthless, more efficient, more sophisticated, better financed?

Suppose we consult the few remaining
Children of the Earth who still keep in touch with The Great Spirit, or the Aboriginal people, or the American Transcendentalists.
What do we say to our children? That we have never been good at defending ourselves? That these staggeringly vulgar and dense morons just still don't get it? That we'll come back someday; we'll be born again in a new land and repeat the message in a new language - and maybe next time they'll listen..

I know that if I were to ask the Dali Lama, "How do you live with the despair and failure?" he'd advise me to calm down, take a breath turn within, and contemplate the nature of Impermanence.

But, I cannot live with this happening again. The darkness must be kept back this time. I must sit down between the battle lines and inform each warring faction the the At-one-ment is at hand.

Right now I am looking at youtube as a lesson in non-attachment. So far i have been able to live without it. Seriously I may have to open an account to see what happens.

I had an old friend tell me to do more gardening, quit listening to Art Bell and the conspiracies. He is a friend so I bit my lip and did not suggest he have idiot tattooed on his forehead. You can't point out things to the sleepers, only mother earth can handle this job. By the time he is eating leaves off trees, there probably won't be a way to reach him.

Dubs,

I know from my own experience that your friend has a good point.

When your both standing there sharing a leaf or two, what does all this knowledge matter and how will it help you to "reach" him?

Knowledge works up to a point, but it doesn't really answer anything until you let it go.

Respectfully

Spadge

nina said...

Knowledge is reinforcement for making connections. For example, you would not be able to accurately discern the environment around you without understanding visuals, i.e.; sensory experiences being taken in, which gave you prior knowledge to begin with.

Just what kind of knowledge is worthy or absurd has to be defined. I think we absorb and cast out by the minute - or less. Probably nanoseconds.

Steve said...

There's that "Deep" Into Artlife West Again, you got me thinking, thanks.

Yes, my use of the word "knowledge" was very broad and non specific.

What I was trying to refer to is all the different knowledge put forth regarding the end of the world as we know it, by my so many sites with most of them claiming to be right in some regard or another in knowing the hows, when's and whyfors. Who really knows beyond it's probably going to be ugly for a while and your going to need your wits about you?

Death can come anytime and we can formulate all types of distractions to ignore this moment.

I don't know who Art Bell is beyond a quick Google search just now (I do remember him from a few years back). He would have had some very interesting stuff on his show for sure. But when the shit hits the fan, what is really going to matter? What is going to increase our chances of survival and witnessing the new world being born. Somehow I think gardening and bush foods are going to be near the top of the list, surpassed by an inner peace. Dubs' long term friend may prove invaluable?

Disclaimer: I am still trying to rub that idiot tattoo of my forehead.

Respect

Spadge I am going to have to disagree a tiny bit. Of course some of them around here will tell you I am bit different. I plan on learning everything I can about the earth because I don't plan on ever coming back to this place.

When we leave this place, it is our consciousness that leaves nothing else. If you can't understand the earth, how can we understand the heavens? Gibran said it best, strive to become a spirit (consciousness) so large you can one day use the milky way for a footstool. Frankly I am not all that hung up on surviving for a long time down here. If I do great, if not that is fine also.

Our consciousness is all we are and it seems to me after we take in and sort information, some of it we accept as truth. Later we run into other things that reinforce those truths until a constantly expanding world view is formed which in itself is ever expanding and changing. Certain things for you become absolute truth and are unshakeable. You see more and more things that resonate with those core values and presto, nobody has to give you the "right link dude" so to speak. You have your own inner link. Is that making any sense?

That brings me to another favorite Diogenes quip. when asked what was the difference in life on earth and the spirit world, he said there is no difference. He was then asked well why are you still among the living and he said because there is no difference.

Steve said...

Dubs,

Yes it is making sense and in the bigger picture we have the same idea I think.

I am not so much an intellectual and I find to much information largely confusing. That's why I keep the sites I visit to a minimum, as I'm sure you do as well, but your minimum encompasses more than mine does at a guess.
I have a bit of a dyslexic thing going on (or it might be cowardly) where to much is just to much and I don't really learn anything, or not as much as I would by keeping it simpler. It just all gets muddled up and I find it really difficult to remember.

I don't find that by knowing more about the ins and outs of this world will necessarily help me to avoid having to come back to this place and in some ways I could see that as being another trap for me in the way of a distraction from consciousness. (I have enough to deal with already) But I can see how it could for others and maybe even me down the track a bit as things become clearer?

I sense it all coming down to intent and purpose as to our motives behind the things we do and if they are clear and we are honest, then any which way is loose as far as I can tell. There becomes no wrong or right we are in communion with the One and we don't have to come back.

I don't really believe we go anywhere when we die anyway, in the sense that it is the one continuum, sure there are other planets and realms, but it all remains within this one continuum, or, it's the same time everywhere.

I know this earth is a shit hole as it stands, but it has potential and I would love to see that blossom.
Whether I do or not is not my call I know but I'm going to give it my best shot and a bit of suffering along the way is ok if that's what it takes. It's all the same anyway.

If its any comfort Spadge, I'm like you in the knowledge department. It has nothing to do with self-inspection and everything to do with the egregious situation going on with the Wetiko garbage compactors running over the planet, read one article and you already know the story. All that is needed is filling in the blanks with names which often come up as connected to the you-know-whos further on down the road. Then there are the Dubs people, few and far between who are endlessly fascinated with real back stories simultaneously taking place, the history and the spiritually scientific angle further fleshing out a frightening picture with deadlines! I'm always so grateful for them because left to myself, I would not think of half or a third of the dread scenarios going down. Its not how I function. Maybe we just can't handle the scope of it, Cap, some can, some can't. We're not idiots, we're just who we are.

Sometimes they remind of you of what you know is going to happen anyway. For instance Zen Gardner (one of my favorites) reminding us of the changing frequency, or cosmic musical keys to increase understanding. I do believe that is happening and the various microwave towers are here to combat it.

The vibrational change is giving us new keys of thought.

http://beforeitsnews.com/story/1869/904/Is_Cosmic_Music_Unlocking_The_Matrix.html

Sometimes I think maybe we had better hurry though! The earth is a virtual mine field. For those who want to stick around awhile and see what is going to happen, it never hurts to know the blood supply is poisoned, the vaccines can maim you, the food supply can poison you, GMO and sometimes even your local doctor is on board with population reduction. Cancer itself just may not be that big a deal that grape seed extract can't cure. Of course other things also. It just may be that xrays are giving people cancer. There is knew thought on stopping HIV by vaccinating people before hand and giving the "appropriate" drugs before the get it! How clever! Very bright australian 12 year olds can now opt for sterilization if "competent" authorities deem them so. Is it Gilliard, the one they call Bestia, going to make this determination?

We are all on the right track when we figure out that most everything we have been told is a lie. I just ran across some great examples. For awhile I have felt there wasn't much news out of the ordinary coming out until lately. Nina is right, most times you can look at a title and know mostly what the article is going to say. I think happens because you have already done a lot of reading however. A couple of pieces here I thought had an edge.

I think the new movie just may give a clue to the plan. It is called contagion. Interestingly the first virus break out was a flop, nobody got the vaccine, then the deadly one came along. Only the CDC, WHO, Army and docs could save people. The people had become the victims of bloggers! There was panic the camps were filled and everyone got vaccinated so they could go shopping again. All of those "conspiracy" bloggers were shut down. Is it a movie or is it a plan?

You remember our "flu"? Last fall I took the shot and got it all over again. This time was equally as awful, especially the self-flagellation part where I knew better. Then you wonder if there is any possibility of escape ... which there is of course. Eat, sleep, live with a higher intelligence.

Many say and I tend to agree, many of those flu shots are live virus and give you the flu and make you more susceptible to the next round. A very large portion of those who took the polio vaccine actually got polio.

Any cold or flu I take horehound herb. It has always killed anything I caught. They used to make rock candy in the old days using this herb. I caught something during that time but the herb killed it eventually.

Yes, yes, yes Nina, that is exactly what I was saying, thank you for understanding.

I will tie it into this piece that Dub said

"We are all on the right track when we figure out that most everything we have been told is a lie."

That's it in a nut shell from the cradle to the grave we are lied to and we lie. It is very subtle in it's form, and it's purposes is to blind us from reality. Whose only fear consist in subjecting us to stand on our own two feet and not with the heard. Then it gets tricky, because two people can make up a heard. So we can jump from one box straight into another while thinking we are out of the box, when in fact it's just a different color.

I was going to elaborate some more here, but it is such a complex subject and I'm not sure where it will end and will take some time so I might as well make it my next blog post.

Onto the health, Nina, please consider very carefully before getting any flue shots. I was on a job site last winter and the foreman was bragging how he had had his flu shot and wouldn't be getting sick this year. Man, he bought the nastiest flu into that place and every one caught it and was knocked for six. It was around that time when Dub posted about the horehound and Colloidal Silver, I took both of these and they cleared it up very quickly.

When I am finished this Colon cleanse, (which is going to take longer than I thought because I have to start from the beginning level as I am so full of it(grin) I am going to do a Grape Cleanse to purify the blood. I am really looking forward to getting those toxins out I can tell you.

Neither of my kids are vaccinated they are 14 and 16 now. When they enrolled in school this year (we had been home schooling for 3 years while sailing) I had to sign a conscientious objector form saying that I had looked at all the facts and that was my decision. I found it interesting they don't encourage the same conscientious thinking when you get the vaccinations.

I am loving this conversation.

Very interesting Mr. Spadge.

I went through that in Michigan. I told them flu shots were against my religion. Of course they said what is your religion and I told them I practice yoga!!!!

When I was drafted in the army and leaving Germany, my wife was pregnant. They said she had to have the full battery of shots. This immediately went to the German consulate and authorities and German doctors who said no way. I might have an autistic daughter now if we had just let it ride.

If I could have picked up on some of this at the tender age of 25, it seems to me that fluoridas Americanus could also.

Now my daughter who is a "nurse" according to a piece of paper and some books she read had the hospital take her gall bladder out. Did not check with me on Hulda Clarke's liver cleanse, has hurt her back. Well she goes on to have an MRI and they find a "spot" on her spleen. More ultra sound. I sent her some grape seed extract and told her she had better wake up fast, what is next are you going to let them take out your brain and heart or spleen.

This is one I.Q. test she cannot afford to fail. So another reason I read a lot. I have one daughter who lives on the New Madrid fault that tells me my views are rather extreme! LOL Anybody's views are extreme when you are a brain washed fool! Children are frustrating, hey I told them may be you are just not cut out to last until the millenium and Darwin will have to take his course.

They don't seem to remember the no vaccine days.

Anyway I had better not get into the hapless travails of fatherhood. If they are determined to check out early I will see them on the other side. I never got enough time to spend with them as they both ran off at 18 and married moronalus Americanus moving to the other side of the planet.

This one is interesting also. The Putin election is over and one Jewish lesbian who came back from New York announcing the walls of the Kremlin would be torn down and the streets run red with blood must be beside herself. Nothing happened.

http://www.thetruthseeker.co.uk/?p=44867

Now there is concern that Putin may go after .....

“networks of affiliation between officials and beneficiaries; wives, children and other family members or nominees who have been placed in concealed trusts and bag-holding positions; and chains of offshore cashflows. The state companies include Rosatom, the uranium mining and uranium fuel holding company; Inter RAO UES, the electricity holding company; RusdHydro, the hydroelectric power producer; Irkutskenergo, a southeast regional supplier of electricity; Gazprom; Transneft, the oil pipeline company; Sovcomflot, the state shipping company; Russian Railways; Aeroflot; Rostelecom; and the three state banks – Sberbank, VTB and Vnesheconombank.”

That seems to be what all the hullabaloo was about.

If anyone does think we are in interesting times they can't be looking around.

I love this city, and have met interesting people over the years, but truth & spiritually minded folks are rare in a theme park city built to preserve illusion.
The suffering that goes on in this city is a different type than say Iraq for example,`here it's mostly self inflicted, and that's largely due to, distractions, and excesses found in this city. That's right AJ, in my Vegas description to Chickory you've thankfully added a very strong point about the people who make up Sin City. I very much agree about these folk being indoctrinated beyond human adaptability with excesses, especially those who carry the addiction gene. Have you read The Globalisation of Addiction? Its become a book now, the article link lives on my left column in the Free Never Overdue Library. Too many times, even brief visits, I will walk into a gas station, for example, and see the dazed zombie stares of the affected, even those I mistakenly trusted to be immune, pouring their last, borrowed, stolen, couch change, government allotments, into the the one armed bandits. Their faces and bodies revealing years lost in alcoholic neverland, multiple recoveries only to fall into repeat abuses, again and again, prison-minded, unwashed, grey-faced, too tired of it all, junkies.
Wherever an illusion superimposes false desire over truth, the people's concept of reality, their behaviors and authentic needs becomes completely distorted. What they are, who they've become is normal.

Of course, underneath the tragedies always lie beautiful, abused hearts. Some of the most wonderful, genius, incredibly talented people I've ever known carried the heaviest burdens. Wherever the values of a society have been deliberately undermined, this situation is the result - as we see here.

Absolutely Nina
That is a valid description of the place. I went to some flea markets in vegas, played the boards. You know I liked some of the dealers, a couple of them. They respond like anyone else when they sense you understand their plight and view them as a person of worth and possible friend, if that makes sense to you.

They really appreciate it when people bring some humor to the tables. Being a dealer is probably one of the better jobs to aspire to in Vegas, they make about 40 to 50 thousand a year. I had one jump on me. He said after all the hands I have dealt you and then you blow it tipping everybody and getting loaded on cognac.

I walked in there about 8:00 one morning and there was a guy from Mississippi who had been drinking all night and was so drunk they would not give him another one. He was singing "Mississippi in the middle of a dry spell." We started singing with him and they finally gave him another drink just to shut us all up.

What especially irked the dealers was Japanese tourists who walk through and suddenly throw down money out of nowhere. It disrupts the dealer who has already figured out who if any are going to win the hand. It gives the tourist a 50 to 50 shot of winning. Some will win a hand that like that and then walk away.

One rather humorous thing I witnessed was from a Puerto Rican dealer. Two Japanese tourists were walking by speaking Japanese. This guy screams hey GD it, this is America, speak English.

Another thing, late night pro-blackjackers make up the in crowd. They seem to be Sin City's day traders out late. Its the old sex and money routine take to unimaginable extremes.

In all honesty, I don't see the draw. If someone is going to holiday, why hang out with alkies gambling? What kind of mindset risks themselves and their families to such dangers?
And when you start looking underneath, you'll come up with litanies of abuse taking place in broad daylight. I saw a woman dragging two toddlers across the pavement last week, yanking them up with each stumble, one on each slapping hand, the security guard oblivious. I appreciate the low population, but it almost doesn't matter if you are here long enough, it starts to wear you down. Lot of hard luck stories self-exposed for whatever nonsense they are into. People age fast behind their pretenses.

I'd like AJ to come back and list his reasons for permanence. I will say one thing, US cities in general are the reason we should make it for the hills. How many closet Sandusky's are sprinkled over the map of patriots?

As far as the Games here go,
I was a dealer for 5 years, and mini baccarat is the game for chasers, but overall progressive betting is a killer to the player if you ask Me, and these are the Players thats claim that they do it for a living. These are the suckers if you ask me, and I've seen pit bosses even raise the limits for some of these players say from $5-200 to $5-$2000 and that's only cause these players are willing to go in $2000 just to be up $5.00 Casino's Love that. As Far as good old fashion luck, `if someone goes into a streak of luck the pit boss is always there to change up the cards or send another dealer in sometimes you see dharma in action and that luck can burst into a $20,000 streak or more for a player no matter what the house does to end it, the smart ones leave as soon as it turns around on them..But when it comes to card counters they map their faces with computers these days and sometimes a call comes down to the pit and the Boss walks up to the player with a Kind You can Play any game in the house, but Black Jack, I must ask you to leave the table..If you gamble in Vegas do it for fun, if you find Pleasure in it, and only risk what you're comfortable losing.

Nina,
I was born and raised in Los Angeles, and that was a riot. The territorial gangs there were something I was happy to leave behind. Never got involved with them never saw a reason to, but I've see the violence first hand, seen a young girl gunned down on a street corner for no good reason, it's hispanic against hispanic crime there, this was the early 90's and police couldn't contain the type of violence that was peeking in the city back then. It was just part of life, and it never made the headlines. We live in a crazy world. One evening a car parked across the street, and some guys stepped out of it started running toward us, yelling the acronym of their Gang at Us, and when we saw the guns in their hands, the group of us, including a best friend at the time ran into his house through his kitchen out the back door up a ladder to the roof, I was the first one up that ladder(we use to get on his roof and climb up another ladder to sit on a billboard that was above his house sometimes). Anyway when it was all done they had rained a few bullets into his house, we didn't bother to shut the front door behind us, he lived with his older sister, and his father owned the duplexes his place was just behind his Mothers business on Vergil Ave close to Monroe Street. Thank God those bullets missed the humans, but left several holes in a wall and an enduring memory, no one in that household was a gang member. Where the world is headed I have no clue, but I love Vegas and it's suburban feel as compared to other places I've lived. I'm in the SW where everything is New for the most part, We have one of the friendliest populations, and maybe that's just cause everyone here came from somewhere worse (if you consider this a bad place to live), and the people born here for the most part tend to be proud of the fact, at least the ones I've met. As for the landfills here who knows. If the trift stores here are any indication,`a lot of Las Vegans, don't hold on to any fashions longer than a season. I've chosen to thrift shop for most of my clothes, except for shoes, and underwear.

Quetzal Owl

From the temple top of the pyramid fell
A large beautiful colored bird
All omens had been bad, indicating a coming of a new hell
many now cried aloud they could not believe what had occurred

A large beautiful bird, no the Quetzal Owl
Warrior of the Mexica – the best
Who had climbed the pyramid to slay
Cortes and Alvarado that day

He had come up the steps of the Templo Mayor
Arrogance dancing, vaunting, strutting, boasting
great pride before his fall, his posture
Seeking in the tercio, carrying flint tipped darts
but his aim missed the intended marks

what did pass was a slip over the wall
a slip in blood than the fall
The watchers shrieked in utter despair
They knew their time had passed, and now in the air
A darkness was setting in
but really no different than the passing one had been

The Spanish had subdued the Mexica
Because a disease had killed thousands - no cure
A European pox called viruela
Just lakes of tears, abject fear

The Dons thought it was a dream
when first they saw the city
better than Seville seems a pity
And books destroyed same old crap
ours is true, see this stone
Lo the poor Indian, like my hat?

Ritual murder heard that before
others also doing it here
Not the Incas and the Mayans - yes they did too
Oh now, cannot believe but its true

A gruesome twist here in Tenochtitlan
Tiny children taken to the top of the pyramid
Painted, bedecked and weeping
Some possibly knew their fate
This understandable just barely if caused by hating
Others cried because the Aztec priests did force their tears
Never stopping always evil always evil repeating

While some of the seeing parents were proud
others crushed, driven mad with grief, why continue living
Why must there be agony, why this despair of the fathers and mothers
Worse than being nailed to a cross
They asked for little, only to love their babies that is the crux of living
What abomination
probably the poorest in this ghoulish nation

The wheel is now stopping
turn the cheek - when one knows nothing?
Ritual murder of children still goes on you see
Where or where can my lover be?
There are unforgivable sins
Quetzalcoatl never danced in skins

Nice poem ghost dancer but that is about all it is. Many like that angle but if there was human sacrifice going on it probably arrived with the catholic priest and Cortez. The uninformed run with sort of thing. It is a bit like equating most every country in the world with it as it still ongoing world wide but every country in the world is has not adopted sacrifice as national policy.

To Dublin Mick

A follower of Rousseau?

The noble savage – not quite
Nor were the Europeans, how many times should I say that for you
Seems in North America the natives were into revenge big –time
Some human sacrifice – can you tell who did
Upon the death of a sun could be infanticide and ritual killing
Oh here’s another the Tanesa

Now the Noble Savages wiped out the nation of the Neutrals, most of the Hurons and the Tobacco group
Hate/revenge I suppose, or could money have had something to do with it

Many white settler’s were killed in the Little Crow uprising – (war if you prefer)
And some settler babies were nailed to cabin doors

Wives of settlers threw boiling water on captive Sisseton warriors
being marched through New Ulm
Nothing wrong with the Germans you disagree?
How many throat cutters did Lincoln first decide to hang?
Not quite a rabid racist or Indian hater

In Canada some French Jesuits were tortured and killed by the Iroquois
I suppose because they were worse than the priests with Cortes
Who you would accuse of being liars
Then Sierra must have been the king of liars one of the worst

The Pawnee just about wiped out by the throat cutters even women and children
While hunting buffalo on the Nebraska plains
A lonely grave of a Pawnee woman near McCook Nebraska who fled the scene but died
of her wounds, many miles from the massacre
I suppose you would call it a battle

Also the Ponca, and the Omaha
Who was it – whites, that caught the Sac and Fox on the river and killed many
Ah yes, the Comanche Moon when raiders stormed Mexican villages for scalps and slaves
Apache’s up to this too
Read a little about the Texas frontier during the Civil War
Staked on the plain a cute game played by the Cheyenne and others
Another trick bind a white or a Mexican to a wheel then start the wagon afire

What about the Utes and Navajos before the whites came
Who attacked them - why maybe - the Apache for plunder and .....what

Ghost Dancer said...

Reply to Dublinmick continued

As to the Mexica their mythology is supported by archaeological evidence, yes really is
As much and more then what you assert
You would of course dispute, but the scale's weight is not on your side
You think the Mexica are not human
You see the Noble Savage
they are as all other humans are

To the Aztecs human sacrifice was necessary to keep the universe functioning not a hard concept to grasp

I'll believe Cortes, Diaz, Sahagun
But not Las Casas "teeming millions"or de Bry your kindred spirits

Three to four decades after the fact old men would talk in detail about the great festivals, the lines of victims dragged up the wide stairs of the pyramid to the waiting priests
(Inga Clendinnen - Aztecs)

In drawings made by not too distant Mayan artists in the Yucatan
One sees blood offered to the Gods and MORE

The most common sacrifice was the extraction of the heart
Tlaxcala sacrificed eight hundred captives in most years but the highest number was counted at Tenochtitlan (The Aztecs - Brian M. Fagan)

There are pictures of Aztec warriors holding captives by the hair, subduing not killing - for what slaves
They had plenty of poor for slaves

This story too strange, too fantastic, too bizarre - cannot be so
and this is just why it smacks of truth

You cannot get past the horror and grasp at soothing thoughts to bolster
your conception of the noble savage
If not true can cause you some problems, your world ain't right - tis sad

I can see a saving grace to the tale
They at least acted because of a religious belief containing an existential necessity

Ghost dancer you are either a troll or extremely misinformed, one is as bad as the other, and hardly worth debating with but if you have slightest bit interest in catching up you could start here. It is funny when the colonialists burn villages and crops it is a great victory and when the indians won a skirmish here and there defending (their country) it is called a massacre.

Eckert draws his information from people who actually knew Tecumseh, indians, soldiers and settlers. The information provided is not from John Wayne movies and faux news. I have read this book and many others (Sitting Bull Champion of the Sioux) for one. It is not my place to educate you however, it is something you will have to find the motivation for yourself.

To be fair I have read a bit on it both ways concerning human sacrifice. There are some explanations that it did not occur and some that it began in the later stages of the empire by satanists who had acquired power. The empire had been scattered into many factions by the way. By the way is ongoing in the west and many other places here today. By your definition, the entire west must be a bunch of human sacrificers. If we are to believe Icke the queen Battenberg is still eating hearts. After all that is taking the simplistic view which most absorb. Believing is much easier than knowing or doing a little digging and Fagan doesn't mean much to me nor does professor emeritus at California. They recently just lied in some research on vaccine safety.

No under these simplistic explanations Colorado must be a satanic state as Jon Benet Ramsey met her fate there. Sorry no sale.

Noble savage is a trendy word to use these days but who are the real savages?

Let us also remember most of our descriptions of the Aztec and Maya come from the Spanish. It is easy to see how they could enlarge such practices as described below into almost any fable. I could see the priest telling his henchman to drench the altars in blood so that we may tell everyone how these people simply did not love Jesus enough.

Aztec ceremonies of eating seed beets mixed in maize to symbolize eating the body of the Gods.

I find it hard to believe that a grown adult can take anything seriously today from any western historian, politician or academic. One should also bear in mind the losers never get to publish their side of the story. We never hear the lions version of the hunt.

More on the subject at hand.

http://www.native-languages.org/iaq13.htm

" Cannibalism should not be considered part of American Indian culture on this account any more than it would be considered part of European or American culture--it was culturally unacceptable behavior. The Sioux considered cannibalism a sin, the Cree considered it a mental illness, the Algonquin and Ojibwe considered it a sign of possession by an evil spirit. In almost all cases, American Indian cannibals--just like European or American cannibals--were put to death as soon as they were discovered. "

http://journals.cambridge.org/action/displayAbstract?fromPage=online&aid=318293

"The three-way critical comparison (Nahua, mestizo, Spanish) raises the possibility that the idea of customary cannibalism originated in Spanish culture and was then transmitted to the indigenous population during post-Conquest religious conversion and Hispanicization."

Bottom line if Spanish catholics say it is true, most likely it is a lie.

Not to say there was not some blood letting going on. This from Wisconsin education.

The Aztec priests did use rituals to keep the sacred fires burning such as copal bowls and incense. They played music and used rattles from a rattlesnake's tail. The snakes also as best can be determined may have symbolized the Kundalini experience relayed to them by the Gods. They did cut themselves to provide human blood to symbolize the Gods using their own blood to create humanity.

Not as crazy as it might sound at first as the Sumerian Enki is detailed as using their own DNA in experiments. Quetzalcoatl is said to have used his own blood in creating humans.

It has some similarity to the Enuma Elish tablets where it is pointed out the Annunaki scientists do at times use their own blood in fashioning the DNA for the twelve tribes of humanity. The Aztecs seem more than familiar with this. The Egyptians also believed themselves to originate from the sun God.

It is easy to see how wild eyed spanish priests could have seized upon these strange customs to take it bit further and label it cannibalism. After all when you are cannibalizing an entire culture and civilization, raping and pillaging it for gold and land you want the locals to be perceived as evil as possible. This is nothing more than standard opt Euro policy.

So there is plenty of room for debate along these lines.

Just how did we go from Black Drink to John Wayne when the focus was on the Aztecs, sparky?
In the Aztec religion there is a concept, called the ending of the worlds (look it up) which required war and blood. Tlacaelel (new name sparks) some believe encouraged Aztec emperors to go to war, they needed war and blood to sustain the sun. Fresh sacrificial captives were wanted for Tezatlipoca and Tonatiuh, the altars of these Gods regularly ran with blood.
I believe your comment was: if blood sacrifice was done in the Aztec land in came, probably came, whats the name -urp- with Cortes and the Spanish priests. That's correct, is it not sparky?
Riposte - cool snarky - cool.
When did you quit
school?

Towards the end of the Aztec Empire, human sacrifice became more prevalent and the victims were usually POWs. Laid on the altar, their hearts were ripped out. Women were sometime decapitated, children were drowned or smashed to death.

Now as to your theme:The Noble Savage, seems you do twist a bit,
I am sure you know the Delaware war chief Buckongahelas decared he had been making blood fly on the American Frontier for 5 years. American defeats at Blue Licks and Sandusky. Horrific story about Col. Wm. Crawford tortured to death. Then they and the Shawnees put all their prisoners to death. Not so nobel
-heh- sparky?
You know sparky I am aware of burned Indian villages and crops, murdered chiefs, divided councils, civil wars, migrations, refugees, economic disruption loss of traditions, defeats in battle, disease and hunger, betrayal to enemies. (I could be talking about the Aztecs).
Actually this all happened when we were fighting a revolution for freedom, where in this world or when in this world has it ever been different? Over and over.
Oh, women in general were cursed and oppressed, and backcountry farmer families, ordinary laborers, blacks.

Try to fathom who directed/controlled that history and you will get some stars from teacher. Hint - same ones who direct/control history today.
The authors Bunson await your slur oh, au contraire sparky I think you are the serpent's tooth.
Your fight sparky - to be or not to be a bleeding heart. Cut the coils that bind you to Hoppy, Fuzzy, Gene, Roy, Festus, Kitty, Tonto, (I know what that means) Lash L., Rover, Doc Adams etc.

This is exactly what I intend for my life now, nina. Our best purpose I believe. I have come to feel that nothing else makes much sense, that I don't really know anything, no matter how much I may try to. But to be a vessel, to receive and express the Ineffable as transparently as possible, to be open enough that I may become some small channel of its light into this world... now that I feel is a worthy and possible goal.

Electric fields can change the color of stars. As you know I have long speculated on this red sky prophecy to point of wonder what could cause it, even pondering the gulf erupting from the large gas field under it covering five states. Probably wrong but I was taking a shot at it anyway.

Well if you look at what they are saying concerning the pyramid, they are speaking of red energy.

"Vedic superfluid crystalline technologies kindle the human light body into resonance with earth's magnetic alignment of 2012, a cosmic illumination of red light." emphasis on "red."

Now we come to strange boulders appearing in the tops of trees weighing hundreds of pounds, nobody can figure how they got there ... other than the standing wave theory of infrasound making them lighter than gravity. It is probably causing crop circles. Granite boulders do collect this energy and it appears to collect at tree top levels also as the giant 3500 year old cypress near me here burned up near me, spontaneous combustion. Could be a case of an energized rock finding the top of a standing wave which happens to be a nearby tree.

Could also be that Michelangelo was not as crazy as the vatican thought he was when he talked of the final judgement and produced the painting, people rising above gravity into the air. It could well be scientific as in end of a 26,000 year cycle. Even the Mayans say this one will be like no other cycle ever witnessed on planet earth.

Dublin Mick - Human Resonance. Fascinating. It seems to me that both light and sound have creative potential that most of us are unaware of. I need to study it a lot more.

Life in Creation, thanks. I can't think of a more worthy goal than to be a vessel/portal for Spirit. Kind of a sacred surrendering.

Beloved Nina,
I have come to this page so often and re read it. And heard the dialogue. And received nourishment from it.
Am unable to add anything to its perfection apart from gratitude.

Guided by the force you speak of. Closer than my own nose.

'harrowing leaps all of them have taken for ... for what?'
for that itty bitty shiny thing - that was flashed through the tv set. the promise that technology could remove us so effectively from nature that we would be free beings. ha ha that one ity bitty shining thing that will finally make them happy. and now with the shiny things piled higher than a strip mining truck the emptiness is still so real.

All of us meeting life full on in the dark only to see so clearly.
Talking of clarity I wonder how Pangolin is. I think of him often.
And Dublin Mick up and running again just when the sun starts doing some truly amazing things.

Ah such a journey the ineffable has invited us to. Such a profound journey.

I learned about the Grand Earth Trine today. Just fascinating and we are in it now.

"... There's a grand earth trine happening now and all week, so I'll just try to surf that, as we all should. That's how we can personally offset the mars shooting stuff, etc.
Grand trine is grace, love, creativity, right action and all that good stuff, through Pluto/Moon (Shiv-Shakti) trine Jupiter/Venus (look west @ sunset) trine Mars. Mars is backing up to opposing Neptune/Chiron which is setting off the wetikos big time. Our strategy is to use the Mars energy with the positive vibration ... "

More in awhile. Will be around soon. Look West.

You will get there Erin. It is not impossible you are already there. Try seeing it that way until you forget you were trying.

Hello Nina....you once said this time is about letting go......

So from the teachings of Don Juan....When one has nothing to lose, one becomes courageous. We are timid only when there is something we can still cling to.

Human beings love to be told what to do, but they love even more to fight and not do what they are told, and thus they get entangled in hating the one who told them in the first place.

The worst that could happen to us is that we have to die, and since that is already our unalterable fate, we are free; those who have lost everything no longer have anything to fear......onelove

Please share any of your Castaneda insights....

Terrance, I can see why you're so popular. Very true and wise words.
I have not gone further with Don Juan. Yet. I have plans to, and will. I won't forget you asked, either. You'll see.

It is getting tougher all the time to peruse and find some good news.

I see a "new" virus called schmallenberg is breaking out in Europe especially Germany and it cause stillbirths and abortion in sheep, cows and goats as well as congenital defects.

A new 6.9 rattled one of japan's northern islands and Tokyo which is straddling 3 tectonic plates had 17 quakes in 10 hours. How is that for city planning?

Sterility on the increase world wide due to glysophate.

A scientist in NY named Lui wants to engineer smaller humans to cause a smaller "carbon footprint"

The psychiatric bible has now added temper tantrums, grief over death of a loved one and memory problems in the elderly as indications they need to go on drugs. There is almost something there for everyone to be labeled as crazy these days.

Hey dude where is my lake, it vanished? Lakes in Chile, Russia, New Zealand, Slovenia and Missouri have simply disappeared mostly after earthquakes.

36 million liters of water disappear in NZ overnight.
