A rather perfect metaphor for the state of our new national lifestyle happens to be playing out at this very moment under the noses of one of the largest gatherings of tabloidiers in America's favorite conference city, Orlando. Yes, its the sad, sorry show trial of "Tot Mom", Casey Anthony. Since the OJ freeway chase, these trials have become commercially sponsored circuses where every irrelevant detail is allowed a full day, often weeks, in sideshows where everyone who is someone presses or is pressured repeatedly to resolve actually nothing. It seems in this latest Orlando tent revival encircled with news caravans swaying to the chorus of death penalty, cold blooded monster, spiteful bitch, etc, nowhere is there mention of a father for the dead child. You'll have to think about that one, and when you do, it will remind you of a swirling Twilight Zone vortex sucking you far, far down the rabbit hole into long and winding secret tunnels, each of them detours and cul de sacs lined with casinos, choir boys, Super 8's and fast food chains. Mind you, I pay attention to this trial reluctantly. Our old friend Pirate Rick once said about these things, its like trying not to look at a horrible car accident... as you inch by in first gear under direction from the highway patrol.
Ahem, cough cough, and how is that different from the general state of affairs?
This Tot Mom story is interesting because the seriously damaged defendant on trial for murder simply cannot speak truthfully on any issue at all. That she cannot tell the truth about ANYthing, many unrelated or very much related witnesses on the stand can lie and walk free since next to Tot Mom, everyone else testifying appears innocent and is excused from guilt. If you have a chance to see this girl in action what you are seeing is an extraordinarily advanced product of civilization in disaster, a modern day dysfunctional family up to their eyeballs in abuse. The upbringing of such a defendant becomes obvious as the storyline continues to guarantee further depletion of Floridian taxpayers pockets. I give this one months in the oven and even then nothing about the story is obvious for the obvious here is what is brazenly ignored in favor of execution. It is this summer's Coliseum act. Glancing at the MSM sites tells us it is a ratings smash. You have to imagine there are more than a few swaps riding on the verdict.
Let's see, if you were beaten to a pulp as a child you would soon learn to lie about whatever it was that caused the beatings. Let's say the infractions were always minor, like not making your bed or keeping your drawers neat enough, and let's say it made no difference, minor infractions were treated as serious criminal offense each and every time without regard to degree of the offense, eventually a child adapts themselves for survival by distorting any truth in order to escape punishment. Now, imagine both parents of such a child never spoke truthfully either, that every word was a denial of responsibility through subterfuge and little coalitions agreeing with one another's fabrications on every single issue that came along, even that of being fully unable to cancel an appointment without spinning a web of transparent and complicated whoppers. Remarkably, this upside down and backwards family receives the kiss of lily whiteness while Tot Mom becomes further separated from the world of the living. And yet, nothing to date has come up that in any way resembles truth. It is as if the jury is deaf and blind and the prosecution's vampire fangs drip blood on the industrial carpet of modern justice's architectural flooring. This event is of course only one of many more to come as technology partners with the global economy to stay high on the Forbes list with all the extreme and previously unimaginable tortures reducing world population to a more manageable size and expense, simultaneously producing glowing quarterly growth reports.
One item of note in this bloodthirsty carnival that evades discussion concerns the father of the dead toddler. Um, where is he? Who is he? Why is he never mentioned? Its a simple question, isn't it. Perhaps something was said before I looked behind the pulpit? Its possible, in fact you may wonder how I could be posting about this trial at all. No problem, the Fireteacher is the TV guy here, I pass through the room where he watches hundreds of times a day in my position as friend doing my chores of support, and whatever is blaring on the box meets my ears, like it or not, if anything it stimulates the aura of ambient anguish. One could fall into compete spiritual fulfillment without the grinding vocals of analysts analyzing computer generated news because the Internet killed the physical papers and they had to make up the loss keyboarding in ones and zeros like everybody else if they were going to keep up appearances as vitally important to global economic growth in transition. (Cough, cough, must be getting a cold ...) The longer the Apocalypse stretches out, the more variations of dysfunction come into the spotlight. The more absurd the circus acts, drunken, oxycodoned, opiated and chloroformed to both seller and buyer, the more fantastic these distortions of reality become and there my friends, lies our true growth as a species, giving willing and gutturally brazen acceptance to Orwellian mass hatred by the numbers and again, it appears a smash.
Yesterday morning as I was leashing little Bernie for his stroll, the squawk box attached to a satellite network was trembling with cartoon lightening zig zags concerning a controversy between political analysts having to do with a few states' new plan to drug test food stamp recipients. Maybe they should take a poll among the African Americans in Oakland to see how well that might work out as a clever cost cutting measure to trim the deficit? And, btw, can anyone tell me what we are doing in Afghanistan?
There was a time not too long ago, black gold was all the talk, but no more. Its got lots of company as the land melts away under mining wastewater and radiation encircles the globe, this must be what it is like to smother slowly inside a bank vault.
Back to the trial, children are sponges, they take on their parents patterns helped along with more advanced patterns of the same behaviors as they mature and observe. Try to keep that in mind when you run into denial. Denial is not a genetic trait, it is a learned self-preservation strategy. Ideally, humans should not be forced to deny anything, but as technology advances, lies become ubiquitous because every aspect of the greater denial is charted for approval and receiving high marks for complete, multi-tiered, tinseled fabrications such as the recent resurrection of Osama. High approval ratings equate to big investments which benefits ... oh, guess who.
Tot Mom's entire family is hiding a horrible secret. So noxious is the truth behind this story, they are willing to crucify each other on the stand before revealing anything even hinting at this secret which of course, they are sworn to do under oath. Since 2008, they've continued the charade of forthright honesty all the while building walls of deceit to protect that which they are loathe to utter and yet, having lost a granddaughter, the life of their only daughter/sister is thrown under the bus to protect their magazine image, their collective representative-selves, rather than see the remainder of their days on Earth tarnished with the ugly stain of perversion and abuse. No doubt the truth will come out one day, but possibly not in time to save Casey from execution. It is a shame to watch these characters portray the drama mirrored daily in political life, the corporatocracy and its filthy policies, foreign and otherwise, which regularly throw entire populations under the bus as well. Post traumatic shock, dysfunctional leadership and the abuses they perpetrate always make a delicate situation worse with after-effects trickling down wherever exists the path of least resistance - among the innocent, the unaware, the suffering, denied the God-given right to flower into maturity, instead forced to shrivel under the boot. What we find ultimately repulsive are the crowds pointing and shouting blame while possessing no insight into how these situations come to pass or what they portend for our shared futures.
Update: As I ready this post for publication, the trial pundits seem to have taken a new twist, CNN is actually arguing over Tot Mom as traumatized victim of sexual abuse by her solid citizen father, former police officer, but will it stick or be shouted down by the hungry crowds thrilling to the circus? We might know by the time the next "giving" season rolls around - or not. A this point, it would not be out of the ballpark to say this particular circus has real potential for indefinite repeats as the subjects under examination take the broken middle class off the pages of human history forever.

A blaring TV tuned to the "news" is a vortex straight to Hell. The disturbance this creates is truly demonic, regardless of what particular mayhem is being highlighted. Making things even more deranged (if that is possible) is the constant scrolling of nonsensical headlines ("Korean Kospi up 12 points") or meaningless statistics(Jobless rate drop .1%) Forbearance is impossible--and as you describe so succinctly, when the crowd's instinct for circus are self-reinforcing--you clicked on this, so we'll serve you more of it--then the results is a replay of Rome's decline writ large. They only had circuses every other day toward the end, ours are 24/7.
As always, you make me think about things in a new light.
In the grocery store line today I saw on the tabloids that Angelina Jolie is anorexic--as if I didn't have enough to worry about already....
LOL! I'm so glad to see you because I want you to know I love your writings, I really do. I fear sending an email will take your attention away from your work, so I get to (yippie) tell you here you are so freekin' bright.
Hi Charles, Nina and all. Woke early to our galactic belt and heard the roosters welcoming warmth and light.
Lord Teevee will soon wake up to guide and relax the nation. Wanted to smash it as soon as I saw how it changed the family. We watched Fidel in black and white, that was it. No more playing games together and helping. I tried with mine but the Lord T was stronger.
Watching the weather and learning mortar blends for limestone walls. Looking forward to planting once goatproof works.
Later, turey.
How do you tell time in the jungle? Its time to cook and kick back when the fowl go up into the trees.
How do you know when to get the day started, even though its still dark? The fowl alarm. So Jah seh.
I miss it and miss the games. Stay dry sweetheart. Got tarps?
Why would anybody in the weather headquarters name a storm "Invest"?
Just letting Neil know we have a little fest going on here. Having a few chest pains lately but in the spirit of the great Irish poet William Butler Yeats.
The protocols make no mistake are some gigantic plot
brought to you steadily and tirelessly by some gentile bot
We are daily traumatized and unquestionably victimized
It is a 24/7 job for all of us to keep this thing sanitized
Don't furl your brow and worry your vaccine soaked heads
Just go shopping girls, watch lady Gaga and take your meds
Shunting the lies aside we ,have nothing to do with the fluoride
It is a mystery to us concerning the degradation and suicide
We refuse and do not accept any vaccinations or to be drafted
We most happily bank the gold our artisans have slyly crafted
It is amazing how cowardly you are, and what your dollar buys
Only a couple of our bad ones behind this, don't believe your eyes
Happy families and smiling faces are not what we plan for you
We'll take you down and bring in replacements stupider than you
Back in early America in the old west you were not such a coward
Your trust is blind and you keep turning your back on Mr. Howard
So keep rapping and banging, doce do and think you are free
We just laugh and deny, these protocols are made for you and me
Richard is pretty good

'rain-geo' Right, almost gone.
Good News first: Yesterday at the Third Annual Chico Bicycle Music Festival 150+ people in our little city spent a full day outside in the rain celebrating their bikes and home-grown, home-powered music. That's outside, in the rain, for ten hours.
There is a core of young people working to take the world back by celebration instead of force.
Now the sad... A family in that circle is a mother and child and maybe the child's father or mother's partner. Which would be fine if half those children weren't men doomed to see their futures as one where they are pushed out of family life and only allowed half a step back in.
A family structure that isn't gentle and loving to all of it's members would be nice. I've never been there. Social isolation is crap.
I'm happy to say that, as someone who voluntarily gave up commercial TV long ago, I've (not) missed the whole show. And Charles is right - tuning in is a ticket straight to psychological hell. Your insight may well be accurate, but there is little you can do about it. And it's not really "news", rather just another morbid example.
The world is definitely in sad shape, but so far there are no Highway Patrol officers forcing us to watch the tube.
The real truth is some day we'll all be dead, no matter what's on TV. Meanwhile, it's still possible to exercise what autonomy we have left. Turn it off. You won't miss it for long.
That's right Mczilla, there is nothing to do about it. Everything that comes along about this new "OJ" circus is backwards, they are having so much fun (?) busying themselves with forensics the truth has no opening to emerge. It makes me wonder, what happens when a trial bring out their secret, does that result in mistrial or another trial for the real perp? Or will they just pin the whole deal on Tot Mom and burn her at the stake? I'm not looking at it anymore, reluctantly, it bodes ill for too many more to follow. Everything was intentionally misleading from the start such as "her" computer vs. the family computer, there now appears to have been only one computer but no one asks who else had access to it. For us, it means the search engine's findings are more important than the crimes. Technology trumps humanity. As far as turning it off, I have no control over that as I mentioned in the post. This is the only time in my life I've been in this situation, never was a watcher and thus it makes it all the more weird.
Pangolin, I don't understand your "sad" part, its a little contradictory, please elaborate further. If you'd rather explain via email, that's fine.
Love you, nina
yep mr dublins, richards poems really good ,and sorry havent been around much
lately, the recent escapade of polavas has left me working everyday for weeks I mean to write a poem for everyone everynight but some nights I can only manage to sit there half asleep unable to muster energy for anything....
I too never watch the television and havent done since I was young,I watch the odd film and stuff on the internet
maybe the news on the odd occasion...
I did see a documentry on residential schools in canada the other night, the abuse of the children in residential schools maximised and the usual story of mass institutional coverups right up on an international level,,,,,,sickness
anyway nice stuff nina love and respects....neil

Don't fret about poems, its always cause to celebrate when chippys are busy in their trade. I wish I knew how to even do half of what you can do.
Hey! You sent one anyway! Thanks neil. This one is for today. I was watching the clearstory window, it was like a fabulous dream framing rich blue sky, fast wispy clouds, an Oak branch with lime green leaves unfurling and suddenly, in the center, soaring Hawks in the mating ballet.

Top 5 Regrets People Make on their Deathbed
I'm fishing here but my perception is that there are many crimes where the initial stimulus stressing the aggressor is perceived loss of social status. In other words getting kicked out of the tribe is worse in our heads than killing a child, or beating ones wife or children or killing some teen you went to first grade with because he's wearing the wrong colors.
At the same time our "tribes" are getting ever smaller and less secure. More people are seen as adjunct members; disposable. The stress grounds out as violence. Where the damage and stressors overwhelm women many self damage but a tiny percentage engages infanticide or child killing. Men will tend to bully whoever around them is smaller and unable to flee of fight back; women and children included. Shit rolls downhill.
These aren't starving people they are people under social stressors. People who feel isolated or the threat of isolation. People don't have to beat their children but exhaustion and isolation makes it more likely that they will. Who do they turn to for a respite if there is nobody there? If you're a tribe of one what then?
I just clicked over to Ran Prieur. He's essentially saying the same things. Perceived loss of status leads to shit thinking.
i came into the oj simpsom trial at the very last second. i was somewhere where there was a television and they were awaiting the jury. i swear nelson mandela's release did not have quite as much press present as did this pretense at justice.
i would so love to have the means to hack into tv stations so whilst they are covering whether the hair came from a live body or a dead body, i would sneak in some coverage of the dutroux cover up, the jersey cover up, holly greig. i would flash in all the child abuse by people high up on the chain.
who knows what happened to this child, i certainly don't. but i do know that last week there was another drone attack that killed yet another 14 afghan kids. 14 innocent kids and there are no trailers with up to date coverage on how justice is proceeding.
and yes i sense charle's concern about angela and her wasting away.
but i have my own challenges. headline caught my eyes this morning, gordon ramsey furious that chef would not serve posh beckhams salad dressing on the side.
this is potentially life threatening to so many.
thank god for journalists.
you mean posh spice didnt receive her side salad on the side, this will affect the beckham family deeply for years...terrible news su.....
thanks nina I'm glad someone appreciates us mangled up old chippys who's tools vanish and reappear in various different locations making us wander around aimlessly throughout the day...its raining so have managed to have some time off...
respects to everyone...
I'm sure what Pangolin is saying ties in with the Globalization of Addiction in which the author makes the point that when cultures are dysfunctioned by forces beyond their control all hell breaks loose within the people. And then we also have the "too many rats in the cage" analogy. These elements destroy the self, corralling the power of the human spirit until they have nowhere to turn, there being no acceptable behavior, no human connection with others. Gliding through the misery becomes impossible unless you know what is going on and are strong enough to be at peace with your self in any environment regardless of the marginalizing force.
Status conferred from marginalizing forces is a false status, our whole lives are spent learning how to create an inner status based on our own survival under duress. How that survival develops is extremely questionable when all you have to rely on is what you perceive to be reality.

brilliant brilliant marriage of casey anthony to the sick culture at large. Denial! I wrote today on my own blog about the plight of the fish hatchery closing - budget cuts, you know, so the SQUIDS dont have to take a haircut. no, a comment explained. Its all our fault, for buying houses we couldnt afford. yeah, what is it, like 10 billion a day in AfPak? Each al qaeda "we" kill coust about 30 trillion dollars. wow it was so worth it i feel so safe now.
what makes me sick is that people want to get in and see this trial. in person. for entertainment.
everybody is right about the loss of status being a motivator. look at weiner - lie lie and lie. dont these people realize that technology means they will be caught? Der Auhnold too. They never ending freak show.
kill your television. never get out of the boat. absolutely GD right (my apologies to francis ford coppola)
(and marshall macluen)
su: Amen on the other child murders daily passing un noticed. I swear I would never leave these woods if i could get away with it -and im about to try it anyway.
Rain still. Got our heads together today planning material and waiting on dry time for a Canaye. Sorta wood Tipi with a galvanised sheet steel roof with catchment. That's what current gold affords. Ancient, simple, strong. Walked to campsite today, tent survived the last few days beating. Glad to be encased in concrete until this wet passes.
Distant thunder.
Later, turey.
Chickory, we're in agreement, I could not see your video today, but I assume it one of those you mentioned you would be doing, I would love to see a still shot of the trout pools somehow. As far as being where you are, yes, it is very special there, I know the region and very seriously considered moving there at one time. But here I am in the mountains anyway and the feeling is the same as you describe, I never go anywhere else if I can help it. I've come to detest the ribbons of vehicles under extreme regulation, traffic signals, sneaking cameras, fertile lands vanished for parking lots, black boxes tracking them into infinity.
Hi Rasta, after just telling Chickory I never go anywhere, I admit to the occasional yearning for, well, you know, home. You sure are doing it up right.
The rain will pass and you will remember fondly these cooler days.
Nina, that birth of colour on top of the page is an omen of good things to come.
such beauty must have an effect.
chickory, yes baton down, stay in the woods, the programmers are unleashing their programmed ones out to create untold violence and destruction to the children and woman.
turey, keep warm, keep safe.
my mother called to tell me that joburg, which never, ever has rain in winter is at a complete standstill after an all night monsoon kind of effort.
huge solar flare shot off yesterday is the most astonishing thing i have seen.
and today world wide the weather rocks and rolls.
peace to all.
love to all.
laughter to all.
And those are just some of the burst of wildflowers, there are many kinds and they all appear to me as families. There is a reason they don't last if they are picked.
It must be the solar flare which took down the weather here too. It was perfect over the weekend, crystalline, and suddenly yesterday we're fogged in and cold again.
Amtrak just suspended two of its major cross country runs due to flooding.
You saw the flare? That is astonishing in itself. A blessing of overstanding!
Lightening struck our tv antenna a few days ago and killed both of our tv sets. Ha! Think maybe the Universe is trying to tell us something?
Wind shifted today and the Eastern Arizona fire smoke is full on here in the Rio Grande valley, surreal, visibility maybe 2 miles. "stay inside, don't exercise, don't breathe" - they tell us.
Oh, just to add to the stress level, we're having a f&%*$#in "white powder bio weapons attack simulation and drill" in the center of our small town TODAY! "stay calm, keep shopping, check your teevee for updates..."
Good thing the brand spanking new jail is up and running, with souped up cop cars and black uniforms w/ jackboots galore.
Can't stop dem now....
The fire in AZ is on Apache land, center of Geronimo country. It never ends...I quit tryin to figure it out.
Splendid day yesterday with the Burrowing Owls. Big ol' coyote man in the yard at sunset, yes, welcome.
>onelove<
bho, I just knew if you hadn't gotten smoke yet, you were going to get it soon because you are so high up. But what are they doing having a bioweapon test where people live? Especially now, in the smoke, these wetikos are CRUEL besides being wrong headed, horribly misguided and wasteful in every move they make. The Gold Rush left a lot of abandoned places in NV where they could play these games. Its just senseless and another momumental waste of money in our never ending depression. And just whom is the real bioweaponry attack meant for now? Libya? Yemen? Bahrain? Lame, lame, lame. Wasn't Saddam hung for that?
Oh Free, your posts are always so interesting. Are you going though your home owners policy for replacements?
You might be a good couple for Guinea Pig parenting. They are much more interesting than TV. Or, get the dough and do something with it you really need, maybe a horse? Heh, a couple of sheep perhaps?
The Universe is always telling us things, I know you already know that. Its my philsophy that depression is caused by not paying attention to what the Universe insists we know.
In the OJ, oops, I mean Anna Nicole paternity trial, oops, I meant the Michael Jackson molestation ... wait, I meant the *Tot Mom Debacle, they are just now "hinting" at "maybe" getting around to whom actually used the family computer at what time to look up chloroform, etc. But the audience is loathe to go there in depth because going there will lead directly to a slimeball family member in disguise as an honorable person and they will be denied an execution spectacle for the primary object of national hate.
This is what I meant about infinite fodder for trials (circuses). After the prosecution and defense get into the parents, they will have to have additional trials. Or, will they roll it over into one never ending trial, bringing in TV personality $$Gloria Allred$$? Have they nothing else to do? Has the audience nothing else going on either? Probably not. No jobs, lots of free time, no money to hang out at the malls. This is a trillion dollar tax hit to Florida, one of three US states with the highest foreclosure stats. LOL, this is the justice system in action in the Apocalypse. Good luck.
Charles gets extra credit for telling us they held circuses every other day at the end of the Roman Empire.
*For Susannah: Heard on the radio coming back from a supplies run from town earlier today lest you think I've succumbed.
bho, I am delighted your coyote is there. PRAISES!
We're looking forward to the arrival of a Buckskin in the equine section, pasture enlarged already. Will put up photos when he gets here.
Sending gentle feather smoothings to your handsome Burrowing Owl.
It was an unusual day yesterday, I agree, the Ravens were splendid. And then, I found one in the road and carried him to an open pasture to be seen by Nature's angels. You would think people in wildlife areas would drive very slowly, wouldn't you? No, the limit is 55 mph. Eeeek!
Bridges and tunnels for only for animals
Cheers Nina and everybody. The link to the top five regrets was interesting. The days pass so quickly, we should attempt to use this time wisely. I'm not sure I always manage to do this but I do realise the importance of family and friends and of helping and supporting each other in the now, as sometimes there isn't much of a future.
Nice one Nina. Keep up the good work.
Thanks John. I think we might be some of the people who have no fear of death because we resolve and act on these things as we go along, rather than live life speaking and acting falsely and taking others for granted until its too late.
Charles sent me that link, its a keeper and a good reminder. I'm glad you saw it.
Some of us can't get videos being still on dialup, but your words are always so exquisitely descriptive anyway.
As an aside, you might have read that Su in South Africa had a red sky at night which was still there in the morning recently.
nina,
red sky now, at night, not sunset, red through the clouds.
driving back from yoga i was bathed in this most mysterious light.
big fat smile on face the whole way.
bho got his cyote, you have your families of wild flowers.
all is well in the world. in this second.
In this second. Yes! A compact space within the Apocalypse for relief to pause and reflect.
We have the ability to bring them on, there is this aging furry dog with tumors down the road, chained to a dog house, I take her biscuits, daily, and fill her water bowl and her joy is indescribable. Every visit is one of those brief Apocalyptic breaks.
You must have many of them, I see that.
>respects<
Giving thanks for apocalyptic breaks. Had the first of two kinds of poppies bloom here. Whole tribe of coyotes is back and doin their rompin stompin blues versions nightly. Town council meeting Tues. for anti-trapping resolution.
Had to go back on dial-up; satellite was way screwed up, a rip-off.
Most excellent guitar tracks arrived from brother, now ready to lay down the drums for magnificent 7s. Soon come.
>onelove<
Would LOVE to hear what you do with his guitar.
Bholanath, have you ever played the Mridang for Kiko?
Hi All!
Pangolin, Chico? wow! I grew up there! How long have you been there? Chico is a great town for bicycling, that's for sure.
LIC_I've been here for Seventeen years. I probably got here just as you were leaving.
Check out "MaMuse" on Facebook. They're the driving musical/spiritual force in Chico right now among us alternative types.
Link to vid of MaMuse playing among some trees in Bidwell Park.....

I really enjoyed those ladies music, thank you Pangolin. And it was nice to see the park again too:) I remember swimming at 1-mile and stepping on a bee in the grass as a tot (ouch!).
I left in 1995, so yes, we just passed each other on our journeys in and out.
*******
Time spent in the garden the last few days has been the most sacred hours I have experienced in a long time. Slugs are chewing up all my poor brassicas, but I keep talking to them, giving them encouragement. I know what it feels like to get all eaten up by outside influences. I think LOVE is the only defense we can possibly arm ourselves with at this point, in this time, in this mad mad world.
Them crazy, them crazy -
We gonna chase those crazy
Baldheads out of town;
Chase those crazy baldheads
Out of our town.
I'n'I build a cabin;
I'n'I plant the corn;
Didn't my people before me
Slave for this country?
Now you look me with that scorn,
Then you eat up all my corn.
We gonna chase those crazy -
Chase them crazy -
Chase those crazy baldheads out of town!
Build your penitentiary, we build your schools,
Brainwash education to make us the fools.
Hate is your reward for our love,
Telling us of your God above.
We gonna chase those crazy -
Chase those crazy bunkheads -
Chase those crazy baldheads out of the town!
We gonna chase those crazy -
Chase those crazy bunkheads -
Chase those crazy baldheads out of the town!
Here comes the conman
Coming with his con plan.
We won't take no bribe;
We've got [to] stay alive.
We gonna chase those crazy -
Chase those crazy baldheads -
Chase those crazy baldheads out of the town.
Ah dem crazy baldheads. Still in town, less and less are paying them attention. The higher monkey climbs, the more his anus shows: Francis Bacon and commonly used in Jamaica..'di more him batty show'.
Big tent up for workshop, maybe a full moon cookup and getogether. Beautiful blue Caribbean showing no signs of oil. Locally overfished.
High pitched sprayers spreading various poisons all day Sat. The green revolution is still diminishing soil and water quality here. My site on the edge of the last old forest. The vultures/john crows were checking me, must be strange for them to smell and see what's going on.
From what could be Paradise.
turey.
Rasta, someday it will be paradise again. Maybe we will come back as dogs and enjoy it as it was meant to be.
Ahh, the unmistakable aroma resembling soap greets your nostrils from that beautiful wildflower yarrow, I can smell it as I look at the header of your blog. Ironically it is blooming profusely here in Illinois and on my sauntering in the woods the other day I was surrounded by it's tasty fragrance.
As always thanks for helping me today sweet lady.
Scrap
wild yarrow,
the herb of the greatest protection.
my kids all know that if anyone is bleeding badly someone needs to chew up on some yarrow leaves and then place the masticated product onto the wound. i swear it stops the strongest flow of blood.
a marvel.
I had no idea re: scent and stopping bleeding, but I do now and will take advantage of its blessings until the snows come. It is so tiny, so often overlooked and mowed down by the weeders who save the poppys but obviously don't know Yarrow's gifts. I'll spread the word.
THANKS!
Everything in Nature has an important reason for being.
